6’1 Daniel Fagan Daniel Fagan 6'1" | PG De Anza | 2020 State CA-N – De Anza HS, Richmond
Fagan is an athletic combo guard with nice burst. He is a little on the thin side and could use some bulk/strength. He is a very confident ball handler who sees the court well. He has a solid pull up game, both in transition and in the half court. Fagan is a versatile scorer who shoots it fairly well with 3-range, has a nice floater, and is a solid driver-has hesitation burst. He is also a capable rebounder from the guard position. Significantly, he has a nice feel for the game and can run a team. He’s a real nice Division II prospect worth a look for low majors.
5’10 Miles Lewis Miles Lewis 5'10" | PG Sacramento | 2020 State CA-N – Sacramento HS, Sacramento
Lewis is an electrifying athlete with burst and bounce. He handles and passes it well and is very difficult to contain in transition, finishing consistently. He has a middle game in the half court stopping on a dime. Lewis has a nice all-around arsenal as a scorer. He’s an ok shooter with 3-point range, has an effective floater and he gets to the basket on the drive with a nice first step. He’s a solid on-ball defender who gets in a stance and gets after his man. Lewis is on the high Division II/low Division I fence.
6’3 Matthew Marzano Matthew Marzano 6'3" | SG Palo Alto | 2020 State CA-N – Palo Alto HS, Palo Alto
Marzano is a lead guard who has all the intangibles: smarts, toughness, competitiveness, unselfishness. He knows how to play and he knows how to win (his team was 23-5 this season). He won’t beat himself and he makes a lot of positive things happen. Marzano also has a nice skill set and maxes out everything he has. He’s a good one to have on your side and is a solid Division II prospect.
6’1 Jalen Patterson – Liberty Ranch HS, Galt
To say that Patterson is a scoring machine would be an understatement. He averaged 28.1 points this season and 22.9 for his four-year CAREER… Nuff said. He is a master in the transition game who is very hard to contain. He sees the floor well and will make the right pass if you are able to contain him. Patterson is also a nice long-range shooter and a consistent driver/penetrator. His motor is always running and he is truly hard to guard. Patterson is another prospect who is on the high Division II/low Division I fence.
5’9 Jaden Saunders Jaden Saunders 5'9" | PG Dublin | 2020 State CA-N – Dublin HS, Dublin
Saunders is a jet who can really turn on the burners. He is a bona-fide playmaker in transition who pushes the envelope on every possession. He has the ability to score on all three levels: He’s got a solid pull-up game mid-range, he shoots it fairly well with 3 range and he breaks down defenders on the drive regularly. Saunders is a legitimate Division II prospect. His team finished 24-7 and made it to the Nor Cal Open (highest) Division championship semi-finals.
6’1 Jamir Thomas Jamir Thomas 6'1" | PG Berkeley | 2020 State CA-N – Berkeley HS, Berkeley
Thomas is a real athletic combo guard who is most effective with the ball in his hands but can also get things done off the ball. His pull up game is probably his best asset, both in transition and half court. He shoots it well and is a fairly good driver. Thomas does show some ability as an on-ball defender. His effort is inconsistent and if the light turns on in that regard, he is worth low major consideration.
