6’8 Devin Green – Castro Valley HS, Castro Valley
Green is a fairly athletic five man who can run the floor. He is a nice all-around scorer who can hurt you in a lot of ways. He has a decent one-bounce drive, he shoots it ok mid-range and he can post up some (he has a nice mini jump hook). Green is a decent rebounder and he can block shots. He does have a tendency to coast a little. If he eliminates that tendency he has a chance to be a Division II prospect.
6’7 Cheikh Gueye – St. Joseph-Notre Dame HS, Alameda
A fairly athletic combo post man with long arms, Gueye’s best asset is that he does work hard. , He can pass the ball and he has a nice mini jump hook. Gueye is a good rebounder but he needs more defensively. He has Division II potential.
6’10 Alex Horiuk – Jesuit HS, Carmichael
Horiuk is a true five man who is intriguing. He shoots it ok and can stretch the defense out. He’s an ok rebounder and he can block shots. Horiuk does have a pretty good motor as well. He is definitely worth following at the Division II level.
6’7 Riny Riny – Riordan HS, San Francisco
An ok athlete with long arms, Riny is a combo postman who has some upside. He’s a little raw offensively and still learning/developing. But he can rebound and block shot. Riny is a guy to follow at the Division II level and could turn out to be a gem if he develops. Red-shirting a year may be his best option.
6’8 Muti Shuman – Serra HS, San Mateo
Shuman is a big-bodied and strong center with big feet (size18). He’s a fair post-up player but needs to finish better. He rebounds consistently in the box and he does work hard. Shuman can be a mid-Division II prospect.
