Brandon Enriquez Brandon Enriquez 6'6" | C Shadow Ridge | 2022 State NV 6’5 PF Rancho 2022 (#36PHN 2022) – Coach Kei Childress has a young team with a lot of potential. Perhaps no player exemplifies this more than Enriquez. The 6’5 post led the conference in blocks as a sophomore averaging nearly 2 per game.
Jackson Williams Jackson Williams 6'2" | SF Faith Lutheran | 2021 State NV 6’2 SG Faith Lutheran 2021 (#39 PHN 2021) (featured image) – This one was kind of surprising to me, but not completely. Williams can do a lot of things, so the fact that one of them is also blocking shots shouldn’t come as a shocker. He averaged nearly 1 per game last year.
Desmond Green Desmond Green 6'9" | C Silverado | 2021 State NV 6’9 C Silverado 2021 (#72PHN 2021) – Green showed flashes of why he is one of the most intriguing prospects in the state. In limited minutes he averaged nearly a block per game last year. As the leading returning shot-blocker in the conference, I expect him to be even more of a force protecting the rim next season.
John Derrick John Derrick 6'6" | PF Foothill | 2022 State NV 6’6 SF Foothill 2022 (#35PHN 2022) – This is an interesting one. Derrick split time between JV and Varsity last season. However, his talent is apparent. The rangy wing will enter the 2020 – 21 season as the leading shot blocker in the Southeast
Logan Gavenda 6’3 SG Pahrump Valley 2021 – This guy had an incredible year. In addition to being the leading returning rebounder in the conference, he also is the returning shot blocker.
Will Barnum 6’0 PG Virgin Valley – Barnum is one of the top overall players in the conference. He also is the leading returning shot blocker. The 6’0 PG averaged 1 block per game last year.
Cody Zile Cody Zile 6'4" | SF Lincoln Co | 2021 State NV 6’3 SF Lincoln Co 2021 (#64PHN 2021) – What didn’t Zile do this season? The 6’3 forward helped Lincoln reach the 2A semis. He averaged over 2 blocks per game last season, making him the leading returning shot-blocker in the conference.
