Christopher Smalley 6’4 PF Douglass 2022 – The leading rim protector in the Sierra returns. Smalley is a good looking young prospect that not only rebounds well but also led the conference in shot blocks averaging over 1 and a half blocks per game.
Sam Smith 6’5 PF Reno 2021 – After a slow start, Smith came on strong late in the season. He averaged exactly one block per game last year. If his late-season surge is any inclination, close-range buckets may be tough to come by for Reno opponents next year.
Sam Purgason 6’5 PF Truckee 2022 – It was a productive season for the young Truckee Big man. In addition to rebounding at a high level, he will return as the top shot-blocker in the conference. Purgason averaged just over 1 block per game last season.
Arvind Gill 6’3 PF Coral Academy of Sciences – It was a good year for 2nd year big men up North, and Gill is a good example of that. The sophomore finished 2nd in the conference last season and will be the leading returning rim protector, having averaged over 1 per game.
Riley Stewart 6’1 SF Wells 2021 – The high flying wing put together a marvelous overall season. In addition to averaging over 12 per game, he averaged nearly 2 blocks to finish 2nd in conference last season.
