Yaqub Mir Yaqub Mir 6'3" | SG Granite Bay | 2023 State CA-N (Granite Bay) – As a freshman, Mir showed an astronomical amount of potential. The second team all SFL guard has been capturing the attention of many during his young career. A shifty guard who is a great floor general, scoring the ball efficiently but showing signs of good court vision and awareness.
Varick Lewis (Monterey Trail) – Lewis is a player who is playing beyond his years. A strong and physical player who plays at a high-level every possession. Lewis earned third-team all-metro honors after having a standout freshman season scoring 22.1 points to go with 2.8 assists, 6.3 rebounds, and 2 steals.
Simon Kolosov (Futures) – The 6-foot-4 forward has a big upside to his game. A player who loves to compete and does the little things to help his team win games. Kolosov will be a double-double machine when his high school career is done as he is already showing strong signs of it during his freshman campaign scoring 6.3 points, snatching 7.1 rebounds and blocking 2.2 shots per contest.
Kiku Parker Kiku Parker 5'10" | PG Grant Union | 2023 State CA-N (El Camino) – Parker is a crafty guard who can finish through contact. A strong floor general who plays with a high motor. Parker loves to push the ball in transition, creating opportunities for himself by getting to the rack or getting shots up off the dribble.
Jay Clifton (Calaveras) – Clifton showed a strong outing for his first high school season. The lefty sniper can knock it down from beyond the arc and when he is feeling it, it is very difficult to stop him. Clifton scored 12.8 points while dishing out 2.3 assists, 3.1 rebounds, and 1.6 steals.
Tyler Parr Tyler Parr 6'1" | PG Atwater | 2023 State CA-N (Atwater) – It will be a nightmare for the opposing teams as Parr continues to grow over the next couple of years. The 6-foot-1 guard can really fill the stat sheet, doing anything to help the team outlast opponents. Parr has the potential to be a near triple-double threat from his freshman showings with 7.8 points, 4.6 assists, 4.3 rebounds and 2.2 steals per game. A complete floor general and already demonstrating strong signs of being a great leader.
Tai-Run Williams (Vanguard College Prep) – Williams is an athletic player who has proven that he can play at a high-level. The 6-foot-3 freshman had a great year scoring nearly 19 points, 3 assists, 3 rebounds, and 3 steals. A lockdown defender who loves to get to the rim but has a quality jump shot, even from deep.
Cody Smith Cody Smith 6'7" | PF Liberty Ranch | 2023 State CA-N (Liberty Ranch) – The 6-foot-7 big man is dominant in the paint on both ends of the court. Smith is a terrific rebound and shot blocker. The rising freshman has a soft touch around the rim. With Smith averaging a near double-double during his first season with 9 points, 6.6 rebounds and 2.2 blocks, the athletic big will have huge numbers for the next three high school seasons.
