Max Petrenko Max Petrenko 6'5" | PF Placer | 2021 State CA-N (Placer) – Petrenko is a name that you will be hearing a lot this summer and next season. A fantastic big man who loves to compete. At 6-foot-6, the rising standout ended a competitive junior campaign averaging a double-double and finished second in a tough Foothill Valley League. The sky is the limit for Petrenko who’s recruit should pick up fairly fast. Max will suit up with West Coast Elite during the summer, playing against top talent across the nation.
Jay Araya (Stockton Christian) – A quick guard who is a true competitor. Araya has a tight handle who can really push the ball in transition. The rising senior is extremely dangerous with the ball in his hands. Araya can create shots off the dribble for himself but is unselfish and dishes the ball to the open man. A player who excelled during his junior season, the 5-foot-10 guard scored 25.8 points, 7.2 rebounds, 5.4 assists, and 4.1 steals. A player who deserves some serious looks from college coaches.
Breckin Beaman Breckin Beaman 5'11" | CG Sacramento Adventist | 2021 State CA-N (Sacramento Adventist) – A threat to any team he faces. Beaman can really fill up the stat sheet. The 5-foot-10 guard has been consistent all year round scoring 27 points to go with 5.1 assists, 7.1 rebounds, and 5.4 steals. A great floor general who can run and offense and lead a team. Beaman is a deadly shooter and when he gets hot, it is very difficult to contain him as he made just over 120 threes. A player whose recruitment should pick up soon.
Michael Moreno (Christian Brothers) – Moreno is a fearless player. The standout junior is an instrumental key to the success of Christian Brothers. A player who can score inside and out but also rebound efficiently and player quality defense.
Alex Poplavskiy – A player who stepped up this season. Poplavisky scored 15.7 points with 2.1 assists, 2.2 rebounds and 1.7 steals to help the Vikings stay alive in a tough conference. The rising senior will be expected to have an even bigger season for his last go-around.
Geronimo De La Rosa (Brookside Christian) – De La Rosa will have a dominant senior season. The 6-foot-3 guard is averaging over 20 points, 3 assists, 6 rebounds, and 3 steals throughout his high school career. De La Rosa can really score the ball, whether that from beyond the arc or attacking the rim. The lengthy guard is getting recruited by multiple division 1 schools and it will continue to pick up when it is all said and done.
Wyland Spence Wyland Spence 6'0" | CG Woodland Christian | 2021 CA-N r (Woodland Christian) – A player who continues to get better and better. Spencer is a versatile guard who plays extremely hard. An impact player who led the Cardinals to win the league. Spencer was exceptional all year lighting up the scoresheet with 22.7 points, 4.1 assists, 5.4 rebounds, and 3.0 assists. The 6-foot guard will do anything to help his team succeed.
Gerardo Avila (Yuba City) – A strong and physical player who plays at a high motor. Avila competes through every possession. The 6-foot-5 junior was dominant in the paint scoring 15.2 points and grabbing 5.2 rebounds.
Ali Ali (Futures) – The 6-foot-4 junior forward has a big upside with a lot of potential. Ali is extremely athletic and plays with a lot of energy. Ali is a machine, scoring the ball and crashing the board but do not be fooled, he has great court vision. The lengthy Ali recorded an outstanding eighteen double-doubles and one triple-double.
Jaylen Wells (Folsom) – The rising senior will be an impact player next season for the Bulldogs. Wells can finish through contact and shoot the ball well. At 6-foot-4, Wells is very athletic and lengthy, giving him lots of potential to be a high-level defender and quality rebounder.
Jaylen Patterson Jaylen Patterson 6'2" | PG Bradshaw Christian | 2021 State CA-N (Bradshaw Christian) – Patterson shows a lot of potential to be a double-double machine. The 6-foot-2 guard is physical and crafty around the rim and with his handles. A floor general who loves to push the ball and find the open man but can also create his own shots.
