Bradley Cimperman Bradley Cimperman 6'5" | SG Woodbury | 2021 State MN of Woodbury (6’4 SG). When the Royals defeated CDH in a double overtime game (which by the way ranks with one of the oddest games I have ever seen) Cimperman scored 27 earning his team their biggest win of the season. Cimperman used his touch to hit multiple threes and he lived at the foul line making shots. What grabbed my attention was how Bradley was always at the rim drawing contact using his body as a shield to attempt. He also used the off hand a couple times with success.
Finn Diggins Finn Diggins 6'5" | PF Perham | 2021 State MN of Perham (6’5 PF). Finn Diggins Finn Diggins 6'5" | PF Perham | 2021 State MN is that hard working, tough, aggressive, battle tested, 6-foot-5 power forward that many colleges will love on their team. But can Finn shoot the ball? That’s what they ask. And I say, ask Pelican Rapids. Because in addition to battling to the rim physically for scores Diggins scored half of his 36 on six shots made at the arc. And not only did Diggins made those six threes, he did it over the arms of a 6-foot-7 defender.
Chet Holmgren Chet Holmgren 7'0" | C Minnehaha Academy | 2021 State #1 Nation MN of Minnehaha Academy (7’0 C). We know Chet is special so what else do we have to say about him? With Chet you look for some of the things that make him the special player he is. Like when Chet stole a pass on the defensive end and pushed in transition four dribbles for a dunk with defenders all around him. Chet also blocked seven shots in this game meeting the ball before it hit its apex and doing it in a straight up and down way so as not to make contact. Special abilities.
Will Tschetter Will Tschetter 6'8" | PF Stewartville | 2021 State #96 Nation MN of Stewartville (6’8 PF). Will scoring 43 in a game is not a surprise. What is noteworthy is that Will did it against a D1 offered 6-foot-9 opponent making five jumpers (18 feet and out) in eight possessions, he did it with that insanely quick spin move, and Will dunked and blocked shots in a way that most would call explosive. And the quickness of that spin move, that’s also explosive. Love how Will uses that spin move and later uses the threat of the spin to help him with his fake into the up and under finish. Arkansas called Will today for a virtual visit.
Kyreese Willingham Kyreese Willingham 6'5" | SF Waseca | 2021 State MN of Waseca (6’5 Wing). Kyreese is flying up the list as a stock raiser. He has the physical abilities plus growing skills to be a mid major basketball player, if not more. He hits three shots from behind the arc every game I see him play and defensively he’s a big impact guy. What does that mean? Kyreese will take on challenges of top players and do well, he is a shot blocker, and Willingham is a monster jumping passing lanes for success. What I am also seeing is that Kyreese has a better knowledge of how to score than I thought. The way he removes his man off screens and the reads of the defenders defending the ball screen is better than I knew.
