Graves is a solid athlete and a big, physical forward who can control the game in the paint on both ends of the floor. He has good hands, great footwork and good touch around the rim. He has already committed to play football at Iowa, where he’ll be a defensive lineman.
32 | Drake Wemark Drake Wemark 6'3" | SF New Hampton | 2022 State IA | SF | New Hampton
Talented combo forward with the ability to score inside and out. He can post up smaller defenders but is quick enough to take bigger defenders off the dribble and get to the rim for finishes.
33 | Jayden Mackie Jayden Mackie 6'2" | PG Aplington-Parkersburg | 2022 State IA | PG | Aplington-Parkersburg
A quick lead guard with good handles, Mackie led the Falcons in scoring at 15 points a game, shooting just under 50% from the floor. He has a great first step that he uses to blow by defenders and get to the bucket, and he can facilitate a bit as well. He’s a decent perimeter shooter already, but his game could really elevate with a more consistent jumper.
34 | Mason Morrow Mason Morrow 5'11" | CG Valley | 2022 State IA | PG | Valley
Solid combo guard with the ability to light it up from 3 with a good looking perimeter stroke. Moves well off the ball and can make an impact on the defensive end with his quickness and hands.
35 | Chris Schreck Chris Schreck 5'10" | PG Van Meter | 2022 State IA | PG | Van Meter
Schreck is a small but fearless lead guard who doesn’t back down from anyone. He’s a good ball handler and solid on-ball defender with quick feet and hands. He’s a strong perimeter shooter with a good feel for the game.
36 | Sam Wilt Sam Wilt 6'2" | SF Anamosa | 2022 State IA | SF | Anamosa
Wilt has a game reminiscent of former Dubuque Senior forward Josh Weeber. Big, physical and athletic forward who can score inside and out. He has broad shoulders and the ability to stretch the floor with a quick release on his jumper. He’s a good athlete who can protect the rim, and is an excellent passer, particularly on outlets.
37 | Parker Elder Parker Elder 6'4" | SF Pella | 2022 State IA | SF | Pella
Elder is one of the more intriguing prospects in the 2022 class because of his great athleticism. He has good length and size at 6-3, rebounds well and can defend multiple positions and finishes above the rim.
38 | Jamari Newson Jamari Newson 6'2" | PG Iowa City | 2022 State IA | PG | City
Athletic lead guard who thrives on getting to the rim for finishes. He has good length and the ability to be a quality on-ball defender. He needs to clean up his decision making with the ball, as he can be turnover prone and has a tendency to over penetrate and get himself into trouble. He’ll need to improve his jumper (19.6 3P%), but his athleticism, size and ball handling make him intriguing.
39 | Karl Miller Karl Miller 6'4" | SF Pella | 2022 State IA | SG | Pella
Miller has good size on the wing at 6-4 with long arms, and he’s a knockdown perimeter shooter who buried 46.2% of his 3s as a sophomore. His offensive game is mostly limited to his shooting ability right now, but he has a good frame and his shooting alone will make him a sought after player.
40 | Ryan Crandall Ryan Crandall 6'1" | SF Ankeny | 2022 State IA | SF | Ankeny
Crandall is a long, active wing who was a key contributor off the bench for the 4A state champs, averaging 6 points and finishing second in rebounding. The 6-1 small forward can score inside and out, is an active defender and can do a little bit of everything on the floor.
