An athletic, rangy 6-4 wing, Sturgeon has great length and can do a little bit of everything on the floor. He led the Dutch in rebounding and averaged 14.4 points a game.
72 | Preston Kelling Preston Kelling 6'4" | SG Ankeny Centennial | 2020 State IA | SG | Centennial
A 6-3 wing with good size, Kelling is an explosive athlete who can play above the rim. He can defend multiple positions and is a good slasher on the offensive end of the floor. He rebounds well on both ends and can pass it. A solid do-everything wing who doesn’t do anything great, but does everything well.
73 | Braden Gibbons Braden Gibbons 5'10" | PG Madrid | 2020 State IA | PG | Madrid
Gibbons was supremely productive for the Tigers over the last several years, routinely finishing among the state leaders in assists and steals, while also putting up big scoring numbers. A 5-10 lead guard, he averaged 27.5 points a game as a senior and made 71 3-pointers.
74 | Max Lampe Max Lampe 6'7" | PF Prairie | 2020 State IA | PF | Prairie
Lampe has really improved and changed his body in a drastic way since we first saw him as a freshman or sophomore. He’s always been a good passer, and he’s steadily added other skills to his arsenal. He has improved his ball handling, which has allowed him to attack off the dribble a bit. He has a solid jumper from about 15 feet and in, good hands and he competes on the glass on both ends of the floor. He’s a good teammate and a high energy player.
75 | Logan Shetterly Logan Shetterly 5'11" | PG Pella | 2020 State IA | PG | Pella
Shetterly is a volume scorer who can really fill it up when he gets it going. He led the Dutch in scoring, averaging 19.1 points a game, and assists with 120. The leader of 3A’s highest scoring offense, he’s a streaky shooter and is capable of getting red hot and scoring 35 in any given game.
76 | Tyler Schrepfer Tyler Schrepfer 5'11" | SG Clear Creek-Amana | 2020 State IA | SG | Clear Creek-Amana
A confident lefty shooter, Schrepfer helped lead CCA to a third place finish in 3A this season. The 5-11 guard shot just under 43% from behind the arc and led the Clippers in assists. He has a bit of an old man’s game, using good footwork and ball fakes to help free himself up for open looks.
77 | Chance Knox Chance Knox 6'1" | CG Urbandale | 2020 State IA | CG | Urbandale
A skilled combo guard with decent size, Knox’s efficiency dropped as a senior, but he’s capable of scoring from all three levels.
78 | Lucas Hayes Lucas Hayes 6'6" | C Bettendorf | 2020 State IA | C | Bettendorf
A 6-7 big man with soft hands, good touch and solid footwork around the rim. Hayes runs the floor well, establishes good early position and has big, broad shoulders that he could continue to add more strength to. If he could add even a little bit of range to his game, he could become a really good small school big man.
79 | Colby Vincent Colby Vincent 6'4" | SG Carroll | 2020 State IA | SG | Carroll
Vincent is a 6-3 scorer with limitless range and a smooth stroke. He has a big, broad frame and contributes on the glass.
80 | Ben Badger Ben Badger 5'11" | PG Des Moines Lincoln | 2020 State IA | PG | Des Moines Lincoln
Badger led the Railsplitters in scoring, assists and steals, averaging 17.4 points a game. The 5-10 lead guard turns it over too much and needs to improve his jumper, but he’s a good all-around player who can impact the game on both ends of the floor.
