1) JASON MOORE | DEMATHA | OVERALL RANK: #15
Football is almost certainly in Moore’s future, as he’s already got offers from most of the top programs in the country. But he can get it done on the hardwood as well. Moore is a physically imposing paint presence who moves bodies and protects the rim. He has the quickness to defend ball screens at a high-level and the strength to hold his own in the post. Moore plays with a high motor, has strong hands, is always available for dump-offs, and demonstrates touch around the basket.
2) KA’RON ELSTON | BETHESDA-CHEVY CHASE | OVERALL RANK: #26
Elston looked like B-CC’s best player at times. He is a big wing with long arms. Listed at 6-foot-3 178 pounds, Elston is a plus defender who can guard several different positions. He is a capable floor spacer who shoots it with touch and has a nice base skillset to build from moving forward.
3) LEO SIEGEL | ST. ALBANS | OVERALL RANK: #35
Siegel is a 6-foot-3 wing who is a very good spot-up shooter. His older brother, Lucas, is close to 6-foot-8. It remains to be seen how much more the younger Siegel will grow, but if he gets anywhere near his brother’s height, he could become a very intriguing player to watch considering his developing wing skills in conjunction with his physical profile.
4) JUSTIN SCOTT | ST. ALBANS | OVERALL RANK: #48
Scott is another young wing coming up in the St. Albans program with interesting raw tools. At 6-foot-4, he is a versatile defender and a productive rebounder who is still maturing and filling out his broad frame. Scott will likely earn more opportunities next season and it will be interesting to see what he does with them.
