1) AMANI HANSBERRY | ST. JOHN’S | OVERALL RANK: #1
Hansberry flat-out dominated the competition at times, which is extremely rare to see for a freshman. He’s a post technician with a sturdy half and tremendous touch as a result of his length. Hansberry is a productive rebounder who has the awareness and acumen to pass out of double teams in the post.
2) CHRIS RUSSELL | SIDWELL FRIENDS | OVERALL RANK: #18
High energy is Russell’s biggest selling point. The long-limbed big man is an absolute workhorse. He is known as a chase down-artist who fights for every 50/50 ball. Russell has very strong hands and can rebound well in traffic. He is still scratching the surface offensively, but has shown promising footwork and knows how to make himself available for dump-offs.
3) MARCEL GARDNER | ST. ANDREW’S | OVERALL RANK: #19
Gardner is a long lanky big man who impacts the game with his ability to control the glass and score in the paint. He has soft hands and is a crafty finisher around the rim. Gardner is particularly adept at igniting the fast break. Once he secures the ball off the glass, he has the vision and presence of mind to quickly deliver the outlet pass and pursue the ball with a rim-run.
4) AARON ROBINSON | ST. JAMES | OVERALL RANK: #32
Athleticism is Robinson’s best asset at the moment. He’s a tremendous shot-blocker and rebounder, whether in or out of his area. He still has a ways to go offensively but is still in the early stages of his development.
