The Division 1 field was talented and extremely deep this season. Probably over 10 teams have legitimate arguments that they had a realistic shot at the title this season. UD – Jesuit vs. Macomb Dakota
This would have been a great battle between 2 well coached and disciplined teams. UD – Jesuit rides super sophomore Charles Turner Charles Turner 6'5" | CG University Of Detroit Jesuit And Academy | 2022 State MI ‘s dynamic scoring to the round of 8.

Muskegon vs. East Lansing
This would have been a great matchup filled with next level talent. Both teams had an array of talent at every position. Walker’s experience and leadership carries Muskegon into the semifinals.

Ypsilanti-Lincoln vs. River Rouge
This matchup shows exactly how deep the field was this year. I easily could have picked Ann Arbor Huron to not just be in this game instead of Ypsilanti-Lincoln, but win it as well. This would have been an instant classic either way. River Rouge uses Geeter’s defensive prowess to move on.
Prediction: River Rouge
Most Valuable Player: Legend Geeter Legend Geeter 6'7" | PF River Rouge | 2021 State MI (2021, F, River Rouge)
Grand Blanc vs. Orchard Lake St. Mary’s
This game would have college basketball talent all over the court squaring off. I think Orchard Lake St. Mary’s depth at every position puts them into the next round.
Prediction: Orchard Lake St. Mary’s
