1) TERRANCE WILLIAMS | GONZAGA | OVERALL RANK: #3
Williams has not only been a highly productive player from day one at Gonzaga, but he’s also contributed to a ton of wins. On top of his robust tangible stats, Williams has been extremely efficient while showcasing a high basketball IQ.
2) MYLES STUTE | GONZAGA | OVERALL RANK: #12
It’s hard to find a more explosive and versatile forward in this area than Stute. You probably won’t. Whether he’s spacing the floor, guarding multiple positions, or finishing forcefully at the rim, few have matched the energy or level of excitement that Stute brings each time he steps on the floor.
3) TYRAE WASHINGTON | TAKOMA ACADEMY | OVERALL RANK: #14
To put it simply, Washington is a superb long-term prospect. He blends prototypical size with graceful athleticism and a steadily improving skillset.
4) MAX BROOKS | ST. CHARLES | OVERALL RANK: #15
Brooks has been one of the most improved prospects this area has seen regardless of class over the last 12 months. Perhaps his most noticeable changes have come physically. Brooks is quickly filled out his lanky frame and dominated as a result.
5) QUINTON MINCEY | ELEANOR ROOSEVELT | OVERALL RANK: #39
Mincey blends intriguing talent with high-level athleticism. He can do virtually anything on the floor and is still just scratching the surface.
6) MARTYNAS SABALIAUSKAS | ST. JAMES | OVERALL RANK: #60
Sabaliauskas is a hidden gem within the local 2020 class. In terms of guys who can stretch the floor at 6-foot-6 or taller, you simply won’t find much better.
7) ISAAC JAMES | NEW HOPE | OVERALL RANK: #77
James is a very versatile forward with the potential to be a very good college prospect. His talent is undeniable and he’s still got plenty of room to grow.
8) KOBY BAPTISTE | PARKDALE | OVERALL RANK: #118
Baptiste can guard every position on the court and has marvelous physical attributes. As his skill set improves, he will only become better.
9) MARKEITH FRANKS | GWYNN PARK | OVERALL RANK: #124
Franks is a workhorse with sneaky athleticism and a sturdily-built frame. He’s going to make a lucky college program very happy someday soon.
10) ANDRES FRYE | MCLEAN SCHOOL | OVERALL RANK: #138
Frye has been among the area’s leading scorers and rebounders for the last two years. He’s been rock solid throughout his distinguished high school career and there’s no doubt that he’ll continue to give max effort wherever he ends up.
