Before Prep Hoops Wisconsin releases the 2023 rankings, here are the names you should tab as candidates for the top spots.

Milan Momcilovic - Pewaukee:
As the leading scorer (14.8 ppg) amongst a batch of rising underclassmen on Pewaukee, Momcilovic will surely be jostling for the top spot. His sheer size is his best weapon right now, but don’t let that fool you. Feathery shooting touch and perimeter savvy make him one of the more appealing high-potential freshmen in the state.

Mac WreckeMacWrecke6'3" | SGArrowhead | 2023StateWI - Arrowhead:
Wrecke quickly emerged as the secondary scorer (11.4 ppg) on a top-ranked team in Wisconsin. Right now, he dabbles in a little bit of everything from shooting to defense to fast break jams. As a 6’4” freshman, that’s plenty to be excited about.

John Kinzinger - De Pere:
Kinzinger was the trigger-happy freshman leading a quartet of 40 percent three-point shooters on De Pere. Despite not being the athlete that some of his phenom peers are, he’s alone statistically, averaging 16.5 points a game (shooting at a 42 percent clip) and leading De Pere in rebounds and assists.
