Point Guards
Zion Cruz Zion Cruz 6'4" | SG Patrick School | 2022 #26 Nation CA-S | Hudson Catholic: Cruz is the top-ranked player in the Class of 2022 in New Jersey. He is a freak athlete with a deadly mid-range jump shot. Cruz can get into the lane at will and score. He is a true point guard that can lead a team’s offense and do it with great efficiency.
Will Richardson Will Richardson 6'2" | PG Bergen Catholic | 2022 State #76 Nation NJ | Bergen Catholic: Richardson emerged as a star for Bergen Catholic as a sophomore. He led the team in scoring and that was no surprise given his ability at all three levels. Richardson, along with Julian Brown Julian Brown 6'1" | PG Bergen Catholic | 2022 State NJ , built a dynamic backcourt for Bergen Catholic.
Corey Floyd Jr Corey Floyd Jr 6'4" | SG Roselle Catholic | 2022 NJ . | Roselle Catholic: Floyd Jr. will step up as Roselle Catholic’s No. 1 option next season with C.J. Wilcher and Cliff Omoruyi Cliff Omoruyi 6'11" | C Roselle Catholic | 2020 #56 Nation NJ moving on. Floyd Jr. is the smoothest player in the state who makes the game look easy. His incredible athleticism takes over at times and defenders cannot keep up.
Shooting Guards
Jaquan Harris Jaquan Harris 6'4" | PG St. Thomas Aquinas | 2022 State #164 Nation NJ | St. Thomas Aquinas: Harris was one of the top shooters in the GMC this season. At 6’4, he has the size to go along with the skill set to be a Division I player. He will lead the Trojans next season with Quadry Adams Quadry Adams 6'3" | PG St. Thomas Aquinas | 2020 State #361 Nation NJ moving on to Wake Forest.
Otega Oweh Otega Oweh 6'4" | SG Blair Academy | 2022 State #91 Nation NJ | Rutgers Prep: Trey Patterson Trey Patterson 6'7" | SF Rutgers Prep | 2021 State #36 Nation NJ is the leader of Rutgers Prep but Oweh is part of their game plan night in and night out. He might be their most important player given his ability to do it all on the floor. He is a dynamic scorer that can rebound and pass at a high rate.
Keon Sabb | Williamstown: Sabb is a three sport standout at Williamstown and one of the top athletes in the state. On the basketball court, he is a high-flyer that thrives at using his speed to get to the rim.
Small Forwards
Justin Hawkins Justin Hawkins 6'7" | SF Life Center Academy | 2022 State NJ | Life Center Academy: Hawkins is a true scorer. He averaged 16.3 points per game and scored 20 or more in five of his team’s final eight games. The 6’7 forward can play multiple positions and is extremely valuable on the floor.
Donovan Long Donovan Long 6'6" | SF Rutgers Prep | 2022 State NJ | Marist: Long will step into a leadership role next season with some top players leaving Marist. He is a strong forward who can score inside and fight through contact.
Jack Seidler Jack Seidler 6'5" | SF Marlboro | 2022 State NJ | Marlboro: Seidler took a huge step for Marlboro this season. He played serious minutes as Marlboro was not too deep. Seidler showed an ability to rebound on both ends and score from all over the floor. He uses his 6’5 frame down low but could also step out and shoot.
Power Forwards
Javon Adams Javon Adams 6'9" | PF Olympus Prep | 2022 State NJ | Olympus Prep: Adams is one of many big men on Olympus Prep. He is a 6’9 freak athlete who can jump through the roof. Adams is a high level prospect whose ceiling is very high.
Ryan Zan | Ranney: Zan is a talented scorer in the post. He does not possess much of an outside game but that will come with time. As of now, he can dominate down low using his size and footwork.
Charles Anyichie | Ranney: Ranney has two talented big men down low for the next two years. Anyichie is the bigger of the two at 6’7. He is another big presence on the block that will turn into an elite prospect.
Centers
Lual Munyang | Blair: Munyang plays at one of the top programs in New Jersey and has had some great teammates. At 6’10, Munyang is a force down low. He is a lanky player with great length that helps on both ends. He is a true rim protector that can sky for rebounds.
Isaiah Dickens | Hun: There are plenty of private schools in New Jersey that breed strong Division I athletes. Dickens could be next on that list.
Mehki Johnson Mehki Johnson 6'7" | PF Colonia | 2022 State NJ | St. Thomas Aquinas: Johnson will take another step for the Trojans next season. He is a 6’7 forward who can play multiple positions. Johnson is a big bodied player that can use strength to dominate.
