Christian Cevis Christian Cevis 6'0" | PG West Morris | 2021 State NJ | West Morris
Cevis led the state in assists this season and he is still flying under-the-radar as a point guard. This is a player that finished with 10 or more assists and six or more steals in each of the first four games as a junior. He had 17 points, 10 rebounds, and 14 assists in the second game of the year. Cevis is a masterful ball handler and is extremely quick in the open floor. He is the type of player that every team wants at the most important position.
Chris Rubayo Chris Rubayo 6'8" | PF Montgomery | 2021 State NJ | Montgomery
Rubayo burst onto the scene as a junior. And at 6’8, he was hard to ignore. Rubayo showed his elite ability to score from the post. He had a smooth stroke from the perimeter knocking down a few three’s this season but he was at his best with his back to the basket and scoring on put backs. Rubayo has a soft touch around the rim. Parlay that with great footwork and a really good forward is born.
Jalen Jones Jalen Jones 6'3" | CG St. Thomas Aquinas | 2021 State NJ | St. Thomas Aquinas
With Quadry Adams Quadry Adams 6'3" | PG St. Thomas Aquinas | 2020 State #361 Nation NJ graduating and Jaquan Harris Jaquan Harris 6'4" | PG St. Thomas Aquinas | 2022 State #164 Nation NJ stepping up as the team’s main option, Jones is often forgotten about for the Trojans. He is a dirty work player. Jones is a hard worker that has a motor that does not stop on either end. He is active on the boards and on the perimeter. Jones moves well without the ball and can find the open spot in a defense to score. He will be a big part of St. Thomas Aquinas this season.
Chad Martini Chad Martini 6'6" | PF Watchung Hills | 2021 State NJ | Watchung Hills
There is already one Martini that is a household name. Chad’s brother, Zach, was a star at Gill St. Bernard’s and will be at Princeton next season. Watchung Hills certainly knows who Chad is and the rest of the state will this season. He is already one of the most dominant rebounders in New Jersey. He averaged just under 11 rebounds per game and went into double-figures 22 times. At 6’6, Martini has strong hands and is in full control of his game on the court. He is an impressive big man with a bright future.
Zubair Lee Zubair Lee 6'5" | SF Eastern | 2021 State NJ | Eastern
Lee has good size at 6’5 and great length but he can be overpowered. Lee uses his athleticism to beat opponents. He is a great leaper with strong instincts and anticipation. He was one of the better rebounders in the Shore this season. With Noah Klinewski Noah Klinewski 6'2" | PG Eastern | 2020 State NJ departing, Lee’s presence on Eastern will have to be even stronger this season.
Toriano Munford Toriano Munford 6'5" | SF Lincoln | 2021 State NJ | Lincoln
This is a player that can climb rankings boards and get more attention from colleges almost immediately. The 6’5 Munford scored 429 points last season and was an elite shot blocker. His IQ on the floor helps him on both ends. He does not leave his feet too early which is the sign of a great shot blocker. Munford has the strength to finish with contact and the finesse to make it look simple.
