The power forwards are probably the most talented overall, but there are also several point guards that can get it done at a high level and project as quality next level players upon graduation. The thing that I personally like about this group is there really is a little bit of everything to choose from, except probably the tall point guard in the 6’5+ category. Other than that, this group has something that every college coach will want to find.
The high major recruit of the bunch is Eastside Catholic’s Nolan Hickman Nolan Hickman 6'2" | PG Eastside Catholic | 2021 #29 Nation UT . Arizona, Oklahoma, UW and others are among those that have offered the 6’2 floor general. He has good size, a tight handle and ability to take over games on the offensive end through his passing or scoring. Next up is Julian Agosto Julian Agosto 5'11" | PG Nathan Hale | 2021 State WA of Nathan Hale High School. Agosto is one of my favorite players to watch due to his fiery competitiveness and defensive ability. The mid-range game is there and he is cat quick in transition. Julian has several mid-major schools heavily involved with his recruitment. 6’2 Leo DeBruhl Leo DeBruhl 6'3" | PG Seattle Academy | 2021 State WA of Seattle Academy is a strong point guard at 6’2 and a good basketball IQ (feature image). He can fill it up from deep and operates well out of pick and roll situations. Seattle U has offered the All-State level player. At number four is Puyallup High School’s star, Cobi Campbell Cobi Campbell 6'2" | PG Puyallup | 2021 State WA . The lefty point has deep range and shoots it with a lot of confidence. He has deceptive handles and moves getting to the basket or drawing fouls. He has the interest of a good amount of schools, but really wanted this Spring to solidify himself on the circuit. The fifth ranked point guard is Life Christian Academy’s Omari Maulana Omari Maulana 6'1" | PG Life Christian Academy | 2021 State WA . Standing at 6’1, Maulana is fearless attacking the basket and plays with an edge to his game. Maulana would have really been able to put his name on the map outside of the state with a strong Spring on the UAA circuit. Finally, we have Wenatchee’s Garrett Long Garrett Long 6'2" | PG Wenatchee | 2021 State WA . A 6’0 guard that can make plays off the bounce and shoot it at a really high level. He should not be overlooked by schools in the GNAC in particular, although a strong Spring and Summer could open up even more opportunities. Each of these players are still available with recruitment as well!
