No. 1 — Sean Pedulla Sean Pedulla 6'1" | PG Edmond Memorial | 2021 State #81 Nation OK | 2021 PG | Edmond Memorial
A sure-fire Division-I prospect, Pedulla netted a team-high 44 3-pointers on the year while pacing the Bulldogs with 17.2 points-a-game. Pedulla’s always-adapting game leaves defenders in a lose-lose situation, giving Pedulla the freedom to sink numerous shots while defenders try to figure out where he is going. He fires the ball off quickly, and his drive-and-kick and finishing abilities are so potent that it takes the simplest decoy-jab to give himself space. His best basketball is yet to come.
No. 2 — Bijan Cortes Bijan Cortes 6'2" | PG Kingfisher | 2021 State #195 Nation OK | 2021 PG | Kingfisher
Before the season, there were murmurs that Cortes lacked shooting efficiency. He responded by hitting a class-third 66 3-pointers on a class-best 50-percent shooting from beyond the arch.
[player_tooltip player_id="535625" first="Trey" last="Alexander"] (Josh Cleary/Prep Hoops)He also finished second in scoring with 21.8 points-a-game on 66 percent from the field. If there ever was a way to silence naysayers, Cortes did so in the most effective way possible.
No. 3 — Trey Alexander Trey Alexander 6'4" | SG Oklahoma City Heritage | 2021 State #55 Nation OK | 2021 SG | Heritage Hall
Similar to Cortes, his grassroots counterpart, Alexander met claims of shooting deficiency with a strong response. The junior led 4A in scoring with 27.3 points-per-game with numerous outstanding shooting performances as he performed his way into spots on the Prep Hoops All-State team and Oklahoman Super Five.
No. 4 — Josh Price Josh Price 6'3" | SG Edmond North | 2021 State OK | 2021 SG | Edmond North
After sparking a few late-game runs in his sophomore season, Price stepped into a big role for the Huskies as their primary three-and-D player. Price averaged two makes-per-night in his role for the Huskies as he helped North’s offensive production tremendously.
No. 5 — Reid Lovelace Reid Lovelace 5'10" | PG Crossings Christian | 2022 State OK | 2022 PG | Crossings Christian
Lovelace produced a class-3A-leading 76 made shots from the 3-point line on a 40-percent hit rate — good for second in class. Lovelace’s excellence from deep warranted him a spot on the Prep Hoops 2020 all-sophomore team, where he was selected as one of the top-five performers for the year.
No. 6 — PJ Johnson PJ Johnson 6'1" | CG Casady | 2021 State OK | 2021 PG | Casady
[player_tooltip player_id="745373" first="PJ" last="Johnson"] (Matt Reynolds/Prep Hoops)One of the most improved players of the 2020 season, Johnson was outstanding for Casady his junior season; he led the Cyclones with 20.2 points-per-game on 36.8 percent from 3-point range.
No. 7 — Landry Harris Landry Harris 5'11" | PG Edmond North | 2021 State OK | 2021 PG | Edmond North
Harris has been an exceptional sharpshooter from distance since his freshman year. Built on an excellent work ethic, many shots in empty gyms and a high iQ to aid his selection, Harris has a lightning-quick release that helps him get shots up over taller defenders.
No. 8 — Cooper Gudell Cooper Gudell 6'3" | SG Crossings | 2021 State OK | 2021 SG | Crossings Christian
Guddell’s 6-foot-3-inch frame helps him to release shots from deep over defenders, especially in transition. The perimeter scorer was a consistent piece in helping the Knights reach the 3A State Tournament.
No. 9 — Maverick Ridenour | 2021 SG | Kingfisher
The Kingfisher standout may be the future of shooting excellence in Oklahoma. He connected on 58 shots from deep (fifth in 4A) on 40-percent shooting from deep (T-third in 4A) in his junior season.
No. 10 — Matthew Stone Matthew Stone 6'4" | SF Kingfisher | 2021 State OK | 2021 SG | Kingfisher
For those who thought Stone’s production dissipated in his junior season, the numbers told a different story; he finished first-in-class with 74-percent shooting from the field on a class-sixth 17.8 points-per-game. When you can get up like this, it is no wonder that defenders are cautious to adhere closely to Stone on the 3-point line.
[player_tooltip player_id="535628" first="Matthew" last="Stone"] (Matt Reynolds/Prep Hoops)No. 11 — Juan Dominguez | 2021 SG | Hennessey
is a quick shooter from the dribble who, according to his coaches, will be an integral part of Hennessey’s scoring attack next season.
No. 12 — Gabe Seat Gabe Seat 5'11" | PG Edmond Memorial | 2022 State OK | 2022 PG | Edmond Memorial
Seat, a relatively unknown talent before his sophomore year, cashing in on 37 percent of his attempts from deep, landing him in a tie for eighth in 6A. The sharpshooter will have an inflated role in the Bulldogs’ offense next season, likely utilizing his ability to connect on moon shots to stretch defenses and help other scorers get to the rim.
No. 13 — Sam Walker Sam Walker 6'2" | SG Edmond North | 2021 State OK | 2021 SG | Edmond North
Walker is a pure catch-and-shoot, three-and-D athlete for Edmond North. He has elite accuracy and pulls the trigger with no hesitation when catching a lofty pass in the corner or wing.
No. 14 — Orie Walker | 2023 SG | Heritage Hall
Walker has been known to get hot from 3-point land, knocking down numerous consecutive shots and sinking them at a high percentage. As his roll grows for the Chargers, do not be surprised to see Walker’s name in your Saturday Oklahoman on a regular basis.
No. 15 — Jonah Jenkins | 2022 PG | Cashion
Jenkins landed 45 percent of his 3-point shots, a class-second for the state-tournament qualifiers. His 37-makes are sure to increase his senior season with the graduations of Cashion’s two-leading scorers from 2020.
No. 16 — Vance Raney | 2022 PG | Cashion
Raney sank a team-high 52 shots from 3-point range as a sophomore. He is a cool shooter who handles contest well and is diligent in floating to spots on the perimeter where he can find his best success.
No. 17 — Jayden Cincotta | 2023 SG | Edmond Santa Fe
Cincotta has been mostly unproven so far in his career, but he has already compiled an impressive shooting highlight reel. Most importantly, he has already displayed a knack for hitting deep shots with a technical, constructed and repetitive shooting motion.
