This makes stretch bigs an extreme premium. If you can find a 4 or 5 that can step out and knock down 3’s, you’ve got action. In this article, PH takes a look at the top Stretch Bigs in the state.
1. Coleman Lemke Coleman Lemke 6'7" | PF Faith Lutheran | 2021 State NV 6’7 Faith Lutheran 2021 (#30PHN 2021) – Lean, agile shooter. Prototypical pick and pop big. High volume 3 point shooter that is going to always draw his matchup out of the paint.
2. Joshua Jefferson Joshua Jefferson 6'8" | PF Liberty | 2022 State #158 Nation NV 6’7 Liberty 2022 (#2PHN 2022) – Jefferson is known more for his low post game, however, the young sophomore started showing more and more ability to step outside. He’s not looking to play pick and pop, preferring to be utilized as a floor spacer, in catch and shoot action.
3. Corbin Dagons Corbin Dagons 6'5" | PF Legacy | 2022 State NV 6’5 Legacy 2022 (#24PHN 2022) – I really like him. Dagons played in a reserve role for Legacy, but you wouldn’t know it by looking at him. One of the most confident shooters in the state. He’s a floor spacer, that specializes in knocking down corner 3’s.
4. Mason Mich’l Mason Mich’l 6'7" | PF Desert Oasis | 2021 State NV 6’7 Desert Oasis 2021 (#41PHN 2021) – Mich’l is more of a mid-range floor spacer. He doesn’t step all the way out but is skilled enough to knock down 15 to 18 footers at a high level. Despite that, he still managed to knock down double-digit 3’s.
5. Jalen Foy Jalen Foy 6'5" | SF Canyon Springs | 2022 State NV 6’5 Canyon Springs 2022 (#20PHN 2022) – If you haven’t had a chance to see Foy, you should take a hard look at him. Pretty much equal parts pick and pop, and floor spacing, however, the 6’5 Foy is a shooter first, who is going to do his damage behind the 3 point arc.
