Holt was outstanding this season as he scored and rebounded at a very higher level.
New Life Christian Guard Dahaun Jones will be headed out of state to attend Hill College in Texas. Jones could be a player that makes significant strides after two year of Junior College basketball. He has impressive end to end speed and loves to compete.
Peace University picked up one of the better PGs in the Senior class with a commitment from Living Water Christian Guard Malachi Borders. A natural leader with court vision and the ability to knock down the outside shot, he should be a player that can contribute early on.
Westover HS had a tremendous season and one of the unsung hero’s from group was Unsigned Senior Guard Manas Drummond who provided a spark all year long. Drummond recently picked up an offer from St. Andrews University and could see some nice time at that level.
Farmville Central Senior Guard Samage Teel Samage Teel 6'2" | CG Farmville Central | 2020 State NC will be headed to WSSU to be a Ram after choosing the school over UNCW, James Madison and Presbyterian. It was a surprise for many but we definitely feel he can make an early impact for this team.
Combine Academy 2020 Wing Toyaz Solomon has been blowing up lately with schools such as FAMU, Rider and St. Peter’s have all offered recently. He’s a legit 6’9 that can play on the perimeter and understands how to use his wingspan to make plays on the defensive side of the ball.
Believe Prep Guard Latrell Jones: The former New Life Christian Standout made his commitment to USC-Salkehatchie and will be taking the JC route. Jones has a nice overall game, he has the college physique and will just need to increase his motor.
Washington HS Guard Rashod Smith Rashod Smith 6'0" | PG Washington | 2020 State NC made his college decision this week as he committed to Pitt CC. He’s one of the top true PGs in the state as he has displayed his ability to score and facilitate at a very high level.
Piedmont picked up a commitment from Grace Christian Guard Phil Martin, a sharp shooting guard that can play the PG & SG spot. Over the last few seasons his game has continued to develop and we feel that he will be able to step right in and play at a high level for Piedmont.
