With these, we want to highlight 3 players who are similar in class and position. Get some time to dive into some quick thoughts, stat breakdowns, and film. Today, we are looking at 2023 Guards in Connor Hussong, Logan Imes Logan Imes 6'4" | PG Zionsville | 2023 State #202 Nation IN , and Myles Colvin Myles Colvin 6'5" | SG Heritage Christian | 2023 State #51 Nation IN .
Connor Hussong – 6’1 SG 2023 – Oak Hill (IN)
Stats: N/A
Thoughts: Hussong is a left-handed guard that overall is very balanced as a player. He is very skinny so adding strength and muscle is critical for him to make that next level. His ball handling is pretty good and should be able to develop a ton more as a driving threat. Pretty solid at both pulling-up and catching-and-shooting. It will be interesting to see if continues to play as off-guard or if he will be relied on to handle the ball more. Lot of things to figure out, but overall he has a lot of potential.

– 6’2 PG 2023 – Zionsville (IN)
Stats: 3.4 ppg, 1.9 rpg, 1.5 apg
Thoughts: Imes is a tall guard with really good handles. He is very active on both offense and defense as he can not only score a bunch but can cause a lot of turnovers. Pretty solid shooter, just needs to work on his consistency a little more. He for sure will play more of a lead guard as his playing career continues. Really good at getting his team involved as well as being the guy to make big plays. Needs to add some strength but overall is a very intriguing prospect.

Thoughts: Colvin is a big guard already for his age. He has a long, lean body and can get buckets. He can be a little overzealous at times but is the type of player that can score. Pretty good at creating his own shot and has the handles to run the point even. For a shooting guard, he does not play off the ball very often as he looks to drive or pull-up more. Pretty active player on the court all around, needs to add some strength. Needs to work on getting his teammates involved more but other than that, Colvin has a lot of upside.
