With these, we want to highlight 3 players who are similar in class and position. Get some time to dive into some quick thoughts, stat breakdowns, and film. Today, we are looking at 2022 Point Guards in Carter St. John Carter St. John 5'10" | PG Bishop Chatard | 2022 IN , Jalen Jackson Jalen Jackson 6'2" | PG Fort Wayne Northrop | 2022 State IN , and Kaden Stanton.

IN
– 5’10 PG 2022 – Bishop Chatard (IN)
Stats: 4.0 ppg, 3.5 rpg, 5.2 apg
Thoughts: Carter is a smaller sized point guard with a lot of speed. Does not score a ton but has some really good court vision and is able to help his teammates get buckets themselves. When he does have a chance to score, he looks to either get points from behind the arc or on the drive. Surprisingly a pretty good rebounder as well. If Carter can continue to out-hustle everybody on the court, he should be able to get himself to standout some more. A true point guard to watch for.

Fort Wayne Northrop | 2022
State
IN
– 5’11 PG 2022 – Fort Wayne Carroll (IN)
Stats: 11.8 ppg, 5.6 rpg, 2.4 apg
Thoughts: Jackson is lead guard with a good amount of toughness. Has a good body on him and quite a bit of strength already. Looks to get to the basket a lot is a real solid rebounder averaging nearly 6.0 rpg. He is a prospect that has some dynamic ability using ball screens and has a capable jumper. As his playing career continues, he could become more of combo guard. Sky is the limit for Jackson as he has a ton of upside.
Kaden Stanton – 5’11 PG 2022 – New Albany (IN)
Stats: 15.0 ppg, 1.4 rpg, 4.0 apg
Thoughts: Stanton is a real tough, physical guard that loves to play quick and aggressive. Drives to the basket well and has a smooth, pull-up jumper. Not the tallest guard in the state but that does not slow down his style of play. Has really good ball handles and court vision as well. Plays with a ton of energy and does not slow down at all during the game. Can really burn defenders at times. Lot of talent and potential in Stanton.
