With these, we want to highlight 3 players who are similar in class and position. Get some time to dive into some quick thoughts, stat breakdowns, and film. Today, we are looking at 2021 Small Forwards in Ethan Williams Ethan Williams 6'4" | SF Indian Creek | 2021 State IN , Thomas Latham Thomas Latham 6'4" | SF New Haven | 2021 State IN , and Tyray Lackey Tyray Lackey 6'4" | SF Brownsburg | 2021 State IN .

– 6’4 SF 2021 – Indian Creek (IN)
Stats: N/A
Thoughts: Williams is a long forward with a smooth jumper. Does not play in the post too often as he would prefer to stay out and shoot more. Pretty athletic with a pretty high vertical. He plays all over the court most of time as he tries to do whatever he can to get the best offensive possession out of his team. He has a light frame but utilizes it well in traffic where he can get through efficiently. Should continue to be an elite scorer as his playing career continues. Lot of potential in this small forward.
Thomas Latham

State

– 6’4 SF 2021 – New Haven (IN)
Stats: 14.6 ppg, 8.3 rpg, 2.0 bpg
Thoughts: Latham is a big forward that can play in the post or on the outside. Drives well off the wing and is solid off the catch-and-shoot. Physically built more as a 4 but does have enough mobility to develop into solid wing. Has a bruising play style and is an aggressive rebounder. Would like to see him play a little more face up to see how well he can do in that type of situation. Would not be surprised to see him average a double-double in his senior year.
Tyray Lackey
Tyray
Lackey

Brownsburg | 2021
State
IN
– 6’4 SF 2021 – Brownsburg (IN)
Stats: 3.9 ppg, 2.4 rpg, 1.0 apg
Thoughts: Lackey is a tall wing with a good frame on him. Looks to be a little raw at times but has shown he has a good amount of skill. He’s a guy that can switch quite a bit on defense as he has the ability to guard 1-4 at the high school level. Really good off the catch-and-shoot from outside of the arc. Loaded with athletic ability and has breakout potential. Needs to play a little more consistently on the offensive side. Could be an elite defender at the next level. Big summer and senior year for Lackey.
