With these, we want to highlight 3 players who are similar in class and position. Get some time to dive into some quick thoughts, stat breakdowns, and film. Today, we are looking at 2021 Power Forwards in Clayton Maclagan Clayton Maclagan 6'6" | PF Valparaiso | 2021 State IN , Evan Altman Evan Altman 6'6" | PF Brebeuf Jesuit | 2021 State IN , and Jacob Moynihan Jacob Moynihan 6'6" | PF Seton Catholic | 2021 State IN .

Stats: 10.0 ppg, 80% FT
Thoughts: Maclagan is a big power forward with a lot of explosiveness to his playing style. He is more of a stretch 4 as he has the ability to step out and knock down jumpers from 15ft and beyond. Looks to have done a solid job in adding some weight and strength to his frame. Pretty mobile for a big and can be very creative in the post at times. Good defender that can guard the post and step out and guard around the wing as well. Maclagan is as solid as a player can get. Look for him to have an excellent senior season.

– 6’6 PF 2021 – Brebeuf Jesuit (IN)
Stats: 10.8 ppg, 7.6 rpg
Thoughts: Evan is a big post player with a lean frame and a lot of strength and athleticism. His athletic ability allows him to be very active all over the court. Cuts to the basket very well and gets most of his points in the post area. Runs the floor very well and has some underrated ball handles as well. Really think he can have a breakout senior season coming up. Would not be shocked to see his rebounding numbers go up even more, which should allow him to average a double-double. Altman is loaded with potential.
Jacob Moynihan

Stats: 20.5 ppg, 12.4 rpg
Thoughts: Moynihan is a stud of a player. Averaging a double-double in points and rebounds, he is coming off his best season yet. He is a lefty power forward with some good size. On offense, he can really play anywhere in the halfcourt. On defense, his power and strength allows him to guard any position. Might have slowed down just a little as he got bigger but he made up for it with adding muscle. Really is a standout player that is going to give a team a ton of scoring opportunities. Though it will be hard, expect Moynihan to have the same or better senior season.
