Donovan Dent Donovan Dent 6'1" | PG Corona Centennial | 2022 State CA-S , Corona Centennial – Dent stood out this year because of his relentless motor on both sides of the ball. He played his way into the rankings as a lockdown on-ball defender, guy who can shoot passing lanes for steals and get downhill in transition and finish around the basket. The 6-foot-1 guard has a lightning quick first step and uses his strong, compact frame to absorb and finish through contact in the paint. Dent is No. 27 in our updated rankings.
Khemanni Davis Khemanni Davis 6'3" | SG Rancho Verde | 2022 State CA-S , Rancho Verde – Davis was one of the best on-ball and team defenders on one of the best defensive high school programs you’ll find. The 6-foot-2 off-guard can defend multiple positions, is willing to step over and take charges and rebounds well for his size and position. Offensively, Davis uses his broad shoulders to create space for pull-up jumpers and paint finishes. Davis comes in at No. 27 in the latest rankings
Rancho Verde shooting guard [player_tooltip player_id="954256" first="Khemanni" last="Davis"] leads the Mustangs on both sides of the floor.Payden White Payden White 6'5" | SF Riverside Poly | 2022 State CA-S , Corona Centennial – White is a versatile wing/forward who did all the intangible things to help Centennial win a league title and reach the Open Division titles. The 6-foot-4 sophomore is one of the better rebounders in and out of his area in the class and has a knack for chasing down loose balls. White is quick off the floor when rising up for paint finishes and can hit a face-up 15 to 17 foot jumper with consistency. White checks in at No. 29 with plenty of room to rise.
Marqui Worthy Marqui Worthy 6'3" | SF Sonora | 2022 CA-S , Sonora – Worthy is an interesting prospect in this class. The 6-foot-3 forward is part guard, part power forward with his strong 190-pound frame and surprising quickness in the open floor and on the break. Worthy has the ball skills, vision and downhill scoring ability to play on the ball at times throughout the game and debuts at No. 34.
JQ Strong JQ Strong 6'7" | SF Villa Park | 2022 State CA-S , St. Bernard – The 6-foot-7 forward transferred to St. Bernard from Orange Lutheran and after sitting the mandatory games per CIF transfer rules, he showed that he had been working on his skill during his time away from game action. Strong has ideal size, length and fluidity for a versatile wing/forward prospect and flashed some ball skills and creating ability this season.
