The latest version includes 64 rising sophomores in the rankings — and several other prospects are currently being evaluated for the cut in the future.
Here’ Prep Hoops Kansas takes a look at some of the top newcomers to the list, starting with Basehor-Linwood guard Jordan Brown Jordan Brown 6'2" | SG St Francis | 2022 State GA .

UR to No. 8
A first team all conference player for Basehor-Linwood who is active, athletic and looks to make plays in transition. Brown is smart and runs the floor well and can make plays on both ends of the floor. He can stretch the floor and connect from 3-point range in bunches and has creativity with the ball. Brown can make plays at the rim and is good at making things happen in transition.

UR to No. 16
An interesting player for Southwest who has good size for a guard but is comfortable playing on the perimeter and shooting 3-pointers. A two-way athlete with potential who sees the floor well and can create with his handles or attack the basket or operate as a catch-and-shoot guard. Kim has good instincts and is also a strong defender as well.

An intersting two-way player who is creative with the ball. He looks to attack the basket and shows a great feel for the wing and power forward positions. Somerhalder has great size, solid athleticism and a strong frame and speed for up-and-down play. He can score from the mid-range area and looks to use the glass with his jump shops.

UR to No. 21
Madron is a creative two-way player who can run the show or lay off the ball. He can attack the basket and looks to score over the top or get to the basket. He can connect from 3-point range and has good shooting mechanics and a competitive nature and drive and a mentality that never seems to give up. A high scoring option with good size and a high IQ.
Kyle Grill Kyle Grill 6'4" | CG Maize | 2022 State KS , 6’4, G, 2022, Maize
UR to No. 31
A nice point guard who has great size, good speed and an unselfish nature. An All-AVCTL Division 1 Honorable Mention player, Grill led his team in assists. Grill is a strong shooter when he’s feeling confident and looks to get inside and get to the free throw line where he’s very comfortable. Grill averaged 9.1 points, 2.7 assists 3.9 rebounds and 1.4 steals per game as a sophomore for Maize.
