Prior to the season, there were 188 prospects ranked and now there have been 159 additions, bringing the total number to 346 players.
We want to rank as many kids as possible so first off college coaches can tap into our network and find kids they might not even know about. Also, having programs and kids feel included is important. All these kids play a role on their squads.

Here is a look at some underrated talents in the class of 2022. We will have more stories on players to keep a close eye on in the 2022 class here in the coming days with the very first 2023 rankings also ready to launch.

No. 46 – Cameron Johnson Cameron Johnson 6'5" | SF Norland | 2022 State FL appears to be the next emerging prospect at Norland. The 6’4″ guard is lengthy as can be and can score and haul in rebounds at a quick clip. Averaging 14.9 PPG and 6.7 RPG which includes a 30-point, 10-rebound outing against Miramar and 29-point, 10-rebound game against Florida Christian. Johnson is someone to monitor closely over the next year as he continues to mature his all-around game.
No. 49 – Moise Balungu Moise Balungu 6'4" | SF Bishop Snyder | 2022 State FL emerged this season for Ridgeview up in Jacksonville. The 6’6″ wing had 11 games with 20 or more points which featured two 31 point performances against Baker County and Mandarin. Overall on the season, Balungu averaged 19.3 PPG and 10.2 RPG. He was active on both ends and his leaping ability is fun to watch. Balungu really gets up on dunks and is always a crowd pleaser (VIDEO).
No. 64 – Kobe Lovelace Kobe Lovelace 6'2" | PG Escambia | 2022 State FL drew some true noise up in the panhandle with Escambia. The 6’2″ lead guard really grew up before our eyes, controlling the tempo and being a true pace setter for his team. He has very good instincts defensively and is able to use his long arms to record steals and make splash plays. Lovelace is steady as can be and will continue to be solid for Escambia.
No. 66 – Jay’Den Clarke-Jones Jay’Den Clarke-Jones 6'2" | PG Lakewood Ranch | 2022 State FL is on track to be the next big-time guard at Lakewood Ranch. The 6’1″ guard reached double digits in four of the final games of the season and six of the last 10 overall. Averaging 7.4 PPG, Clarke-Jones came on when his team needed him the most and proved that he can hit the mid-range with ease and finish at the cup in a variety of ways. As he grows in height and adds muscle, he will be well on his way.
No. 78 – Andrew Gaines Andrew Gaines 6'3" | CG Orlando University | 2022 State FL is a quiet leader who is a very sound ballhandler and provides good touch to his offense. Winning a Peach Jam championship with Nightrydas 15U, the 6’3″ combo guard certainly invaluable experience last summer. He’s dripping with upside and is one of the most efficient bucket getters in the 2022 class. Orlando has a good one.
No. 97 – Adren Roberts Adren Roberts 6'5" | SG Somerset Canyons | 2022 State FL is yet another player who is packed with upside at his 6’4″ frame and his wingspan is long as can be. He dunks with two hands with ease and is quick with tip-backs, blocks and boards. His motor is through the roof and it matches his natural athleticism. A true sleeper, the trajectory for Roberts is clear.
No. 99 – Dominic Gooden Dominic Gooden 6'0" | CG PHS Academy | 2022 State FL had a very strong finish to his sophomore year, netting double digits in six of his last nine games. He is still getting bigger in his upper body and at 6′, he has enough speed and craftiness to truly hold his own. Gooden averaged 8.9 PPG and had a career-best 22 points against Tampa Riverview. His ability to slash and lead an offense is going to make him a true commodity.
