No. 17 – Dillon Mitchell Dillon Mitchell 6'7" | PF Montverde Academy | 2022 State #38 Nation FL arrived at Sickles this past fall and quickly became a threat as a young and versatile player. Averaging 12.4 PPG and 9.5 RPG, he had 11 double doubles including five in the last six games of the season. The 6’7″ forward is still raw in some regards but his energy and potential are through the roof. As he tacks on more muscle and develops more aggressiveness, Mitchell will consistently be a dangerous player. He holds offers from Virginia Tech, Texas A&M, UF, SMU and USF and has drawn interest from the likes of UCF, FSU and Vanderbilt.
No. 20 – Fray Nguimbi Fray Nguimbi 6'7" | PF West Oaks | 2022 State PA is a nice explosive piece for West Oaks and it showed this season. A lengthy 6’7″ forward, he’s always looking to clean up misses and get inside for dunks and lay-ins. Nguimbi is a rebounding machine and someone you always know is on the floor. He is vocal, bursty and very fun to watch. Adding upper body strength will pay huge dividends moving forward for him. Nguimbi has offers from Iowa State, Stetson, Alabama, Arkansas Little-Rock, Louisiana-Monroe, USF and Southeastern Louisiana.
No. 26 – Brice Sensabaugh Brice Sensabaugh 6'6" | PF Lake Highland Prep | 2022 State #104 Nation FL was an impact addition for Lake Highland Prep after transferring over from Hagerty. The 6’5″ athlete is a very gifted outside shooter (41 percent from 3-point land as a sophomore). He shot 60 percent from deep over a six-game span prior to suffering a lower body injury that kept him out of the state semifinal. He is a strong bodied guard who can hit the mid-range, drive to the rack on his own, shoot it well and control the tempo with his ballhandling. Sensabaugh averaged 18.0 PPG and 4.4 RPG on the season and has an offer from SMU currently. UNF, Jacksonville, Stetson, Longwood and Radford have all expressed interest.
No. 32 – Deshawn Jean-Charles Deshawn Jean-Charles 6'6" | PF West Oaks | 2022 State FL is going to hurt you inside and he is a gifted space creator when it comes to grabbing boards and putting back shots. The 6’6″ sophomore averaged 12.1 PPG and 6.2 RPG, reaching double digits in all but four games. Most impressively, Jean-Charles added a season-high 25 points and eight rebounds in Miramar’s Class 7A state title win over Sanford Seminole. He was living in the paint and hurting the opposing defense time and time again. Jean-Charles has early interest from UNF and Florida A&M.
No. 33 – Johned Walker Johned Walker 6'0" | PG St. Benedict's | 2022 NJ missed the first half of the season due to an injury, but the Central Pointe Christian guard flashed enough to prove he is up next. The 6′ guard will take over the lead guard role with 2020 senior Luis Rolon Luis Rolon 6'3" | CG Central Pointe Christian | 2020 State FL off to FGCU. Walker is a fast downhill point man who can get by defenders with his speed alone. He lives for drives to the hoop and will continue to further his game this summer. He has earned interest from UCF. USF, FAU, FIU, FGCU, North Texas and Arkansas State.
No. 36 – Aidan Abell Aidan Abell 6'6" | SG Westminster Academy | 2022 State FL is someone who can not only shoot at a high clip but he can get to the cup quickly. A well-formed shooter, Abell makes his living from deep and the mid-range as he averaged 13.5 PPG and 6.9 RPG for Westminster. Transferring over from Coral Springs Charter, Abell is someone who will continue to move up the charts and become a household name. He has drawn interest from Dayton, Davidson and Clemson.
No. 38 – Rickey Ballard Rickey Ballard 6'6" | CG Westminster | 2022 State FL made strides as a sophomore at Sagemont. The 6’6″ guard/forward is a true chess piece and he proved to be solid all season long averaging 13.0 PPG, 6.0 RPG. His jumper is polished (47 percent from deep on the season) and he can certainly get going as an attacker to the basket and an assistant man. FAU, Mercer. Florida A&M, Howard and Stetson have all shown interest.
