No. 39 – Javon Bennett Javon Bennett 5'11" | CG Trinity Prep | 2022 State FL has been a top-end scorer for the last two seasons. In fact, he’s already topped the 1,000 point mark as an underclassman at Trinity Prep. The 5’11” lead guard is a scrappy defender and a high-end shooter. Averaging 25.2 PPG as a sophomore, Bennett leans on his jumper to stack up big outputs, but he’s also able to drive to the rack on his own. He is a well-known producer.
No. 51 – Denzel Aberdeen Denzel Aberdeen 6'4" | PG Dr. Phillips | 2022 State #197 Nation FL made the switch from The First Academy to Dr. Phillips this past season. As a speedy and high IQ guard, Aberdeen has grown in height and is now at 6’2″ as well as his overall game. His 3-point shot is seasoned and something that flashes often and his ability to dish it out is also very essential currently. Aberdeen averaged 13.1 PPG for a vastly improved Dr. Phillips squad. He is a quick riser.
No. 52 – Kamren Ramsarran Kamren Ramsarran 6'1" | CG Westminster | 2022 State FL is a very crafty outside touch shooter. Averaging 13.5 PPG for Coral Springs Charter as a sophomore, he reached double digits in all but six games on the season. That is not too shabby for a young player. Ramsarran is a 6’1″ guard who can shoot it from deep at a high clip, drive to the hoop when needed and run the floor with loads of energy.
No. 58 – Jose Amat Jose Amat 5'9" | CG Florida Christian | 2022 State FL moving from Westwood Christian to Florida Christian, he remains one of the best deep threats in the state in the Class of 2022. At 5’8″, he won’t intimidate anyone, but certainly is a player that gets taken for granted offensively until he hits a few in your face. Amat is a high IQ player who can get going quickly from outside.
No. 105 – Ben McGraw Ben McGraw 6'3" | CG Bolles | 2022 State FL got his feet wet on varsity playing four games as a freshman. During his sophomore campaign, the 6’2″ shooter averaged 15.5 PPG and hit 45 percent of his shots from long range. McGraw is a longer body who is still growing and maturing and his speed blends well with his smarts and high-end shooting ability. He is just starting to hit his stride.
No. 127 – Trey Lane Trey Lane 6'1" | CG Santa Fe Catholic | 2022 State FL is a shooter first and foremost. Averaging 13.7 PPG as a sophomore, the 6’1″ guard connected on 43 percent of his 3-point attempts. His best outing came in the final game of the season, a Class 6A region semifinal loss, 71-69 to Hillsborough where he scored a season-best 26 points in a game making all six of 3-point attempts. Lane is a maturing leader.
No. 190 – Logan Ryan Logan Ryan 6'1" | CG Nease | 2022 State FL earned heavy minutes as a freshman and propelled that into a key role for Nease this past season. The 6’1″ guard averaged 13.4 PPG while shooting 43 percent from 3-point land. He had 23 3’s over his first five games and recorded a 3-pointer in all but one game overall. Ryan is a sharpshooter who is very talented.
No. 213 – Trevor Parks Trevor Parks 6'4" | CG Clearwater Calvary Christian | 2022 State FL had some very strong performances for Calvary Christian down the stretch. He had back to back games with five 3’s and averaged 8.1 PPG on the season. After getting some minutes off the bench as a freshman, Parks was on the floor a lot as a sophomore and I expect him to get out there even more as a junior. His shooting prowess will lift his value moving forward.
