#30 Garrett Cox Garrett Cox 6'6" | SG Glen Allen | 2021 State VA | 6’5” | Glen Allen (#86 Overall)
Cox is a guy who could shoot up the rankings with a good summer and senior season, as he has some great tools at his position. At 6’5” he has long arms and moves pretty well for his size, he shoots it extremely well from deep and has great form and he rebounds well on both ends. He had a good junior season to build on and should continue to get better.
#29 Terique Brown Terique Brown 6'3" | SG Middleburg | 2021 VA | 6’3” | Middleburg (#85 Overall)
Brown wasn’t the first option at Middleburg this year but he’s still a guy who has intriguing potential at the next level. He’s a long and athletic wing that’s a lefty which makes him awkward to guard, he can shoot it from deep and has good confidence and he’s a guy who brings it on both ends as well.
#28 Kaleb Bingham Kaleb Bingham 6'4" | SF James River | 2021 State VA | 6’4” | James River (#76 Overall)
Bingham is another guy who could shoot up the rankings if he continues to improve after his breakout season at James River this year. The 6’4” wing is a guy who scores it in bunches from multiple levels, he can guard multiple positions and he’s a guy who can make shots off the catch and off the bounce. He continues to improve and should be someone who will be a top player in the Richmond area as a senior.
#27 Myles Webb Myles Webb 6'6" | SF St. Stephen's St. Agnes | 2022 VA | 6’6” | St. Stephen’s St. Agnes (#74 Overall)
Webb played sparingly for SSSAS these past two seasons as one of the top programs in the state, and with the departure of almost their entire starting lineup and some key reserves he’ll be a guy who should be able to show more moving forward. He has great positional size, plays with a good motor on both ends and showed good feel and a high IQ when I watched him.
#26 Jacobi Lambert Jacobi Lambert 6'1" | SG Heritage (Liberty) | 2021 State VA | 6’1” | Heritage-Lynchburg (#70 Overall)
Lambert is one of the purest scorers in the Lyncburg area and has put up big numbers throughout his career so far. He’s a stocky and strong wing that works well with the ball in his hands, he’s able to create space and score from multiple levels and he’s very smooth as he does so.
#25 DJ Simms DJ Simms 6'2" | SG Christchurch | 2021 State VA | 6’2” | Christchurch (#69 Overall)
Simms was an underclassman standout at Hanover before transferring to Christchurch where he became a two sport star and has emerged as a big time football commit. He’s a very strong guard that can get downhill and finish above the rim with his exceptional athleticism, and he’s a two way impact guy who can guard multiple positions as well.
#24 Lamonta Ellis Lamonta Ellis 6'3" | SG Hopewell | 2021 State VA | 6’3” | VB Sports Academy (#68 Overall)
Ellis transferred from Hopewell where he was a two year starter to the new VBSA and played a national schedule this year. He’s a good “3 and d” guy that can guard the best player on the other team, he can stroke it from deep even if his form is a little awkward and he’s a strong and physical player that can bang with guys much bigger than him.
#23 James Patterson James Patterson 6'2" | SG Meadowbrook | 2021 VA | 6’3” | Meadowbrook (#67 Overall)
Patterson is a guy who continues to get better and better and should be a scholarship level player when it’s all said and done. He’s an athletic and high motor wing that plays above the rim on both ends, he can make shots from deep when left open and he’s also a guy who can attack off the bounce and get downhill. He’s a two way impact guy who plays with great energy on both ends as well.
#22 Chris Brown Chris Brown 6'3" | SG Peninsula Catholic | 2022 VA | 6’3” | Peninsula Catholic (#66 Overall)
Brown is a super intriguing prospect with a lot of tools that translate to the next level moving forward. He’s a long and athletic wing that can play on and off the basketball, he has good feel and makes good reads with the ball in his hands and he’s able to shoot it from deep off the catch when he’s left open. He’s a good athlete that continues to develop and should be primed for a big senior season next year.
#21 Reed Pendleton Reed Pendleton 6'1" | SG Moravian Prep | 2021 State VA | 6’2” | Cave Spring (#64 Overall)
Pendleton was one of the top breakout players in the Roanoke area this year, as he was a big reason that Cave Spring went on to win the state championship. A pure shooter that has a quick release and great range, he’s a guy who moves well without the basketball and can get open even when being denied the ball. He has a high IQ on both ends and he’s an underrated athlete and shot creator as well.
