#30 Sterling White Sterling White 5'11" | PG Great Bridge | 2021 State VA | 5’11” | Catholic (#99 Overall)
After two successful years at Great Bridge, White decided to transfer to Catholic where he became the immediate starter and floor general for them. He’s a tone setter on both ends, he handles pressure extremely well and makes good decisions once he breaks the defense down. He can score in spurts from multiple levels but is best as a creator and set up guy.
#29 Erik Prosise Erik Prosise 6'1" | CG Trinity Episcopal | 2021 State VA | 6’1” | Trinity Episcopal (#97 Overall)
Prosise continues to improve over at TES as he split time on and off the basketball this year and played with good energy on both ends. He’s a guy who can make shots both off the catch and off the bounce from deep, he pushes the ball well in transition and can guard the ball the length of the floor. He’s steadily improving his point guard skill set and has both the traits you like in a combo guard.
#28 Logan Barbour Logan Barbour 6'2" | PG William Monroe | 2021 State VA | 6’2” | William Monroe (#84 Overall)
Barbour may not play in a big area but he’s considered one of the best true point guards in the Charlottesville area. He’s a guy with good size and strength, he plays with good pace and changes speeds well and he has a knack for making the right play at the right time. At times he can almost be too unselfish but when he needs to score he can fill it up.
#27 Jamonte Smith Jamonte Smith 6'0" | CG Patrick Henry (Roanoke) | 2021 State VA | 6’0” | Patrick Henry (Roanoke) (#82 Overall)
One of the purest scoring guards in the Roanoke area, Smith was a big reason that PH made a run to the state semifinals before losing to Norview. He’s a guy who is extremely crafty with the ball in his hands, he can get downhill in transition where he can finish at the rim or he can work out of isolations where he can create space and make shots from multiple levels as well.
#26 Jakari Wilkins Jakari Wilkins 5'9" | PG Williamsburg Christian | 2021 State VA | 5’8” | Williamsburg Christian (#81 Overall)
Another point guard that can flat out go, Wilkins isn’t the biggest guy on the court but good luck trying to stay in front of him. Not only is a blur end to end but he changes speeds extremely well, he understands angles in the midrange and uses them off the floater and pull-up, he can shoot it from deep and he lives in the paint where he can make plays for others or score it himself.
#25 Jaylen Leftwich Jaylen Leftwich 6'3" | CG Liberty Christian | 2021 State VA | 6’3” | Liberty Christian (#80 Overall)
Leftwich had a great junior year racking up accolades such as District POY and All State selections on the way to helping LCA qualify for the state tournament. A combo guard with good size, Leftwich is able to use his body against pressure and see over top of the defense. His size also helps him as a scorer as he can shoot over top of guys and he’s a good finisher through traffic as well.
#24 Jonas Sanker Jonas Sanker 6'2" | CG Covenant | 2021 State VA | 6’2” | Covenant School (#79 Overall)
Sanker had an incredible junior campaign leading Covenant to the state semifinals and earning All State honors as well. The 6’2” guard is also a standout on the football field which makes sense when you see how strong and athletic he is when he plays. He’s a guy who can score it in bunches with his ability to shoot the rock, get downhill and finish above the rim and find his way to the free throw line.
#23 James Prescott James Prescott 6'1" | CG Woodrow Wilson | 2021 PA | 6’1” | Woodrow Wilson (#78 Overall)
Prescott was a big reason for the turn around at Wilson over the past few years as he’s helped change the culture with his toughness and work ethic. He’s a guy who can play on or off the basketball, he makes good decisions with the ball in his hands and he plays with a high motor on both ends at all times. He’s a guy who makes winning plays whether it shows up in the stat sheet or not.
#22 Isiah Simmons | 5’6” | Steward School (#73 Overall)
Simmons is a smaller guard but he makes a huge impact on both ends with his craftiness and good feel. He dictates tempo well, he plays at multiple speeds and changes them extremely well and he’s a guy who can score from multiple levels off the bounce. He’s crafty enough to be able to negate his size in the lane and he always finds his bigs when they’re open.
#21 Chris Kuzemka Chris Kuzemka 5'11" | PG Centreville | 2021 State VA | 5’11” | Centreville (#65 Overall)
Kuzemka missed this season with a knee injury and if Centreville had him there was a chance they could have contended for a state title. He’s a born floor general that’s an extension of his coach, he handles pressure well and applies it well defensively and he always gets his team into their sets and calms them down when they need to. He’s also a good shot maker with deep range and a crafty finisher in the lane.
