The latest version includes 145 rising juniors in the rankings — and several other prospects are currently being evaluated for the cut in the future.
Here, Prep Hoops Kansas takes a look at some of the biggest risers in the latest Prep Hoops Class of 2021 rankings.
10 to 6 Sterling Chapman Sterling Chapman 6'4" | CG Campus | 2021 State KS , 6’5, G, Campus
Chapman is a terrific guard for Campus who has good height and strong playmaking ability both as a defender, facilitator and scorer from three-point range, the mid-range area and around the glass. Chapman has really taken his game up a notch and shows great leadership and the desire to make plays and score and notice the moment and capitalize.
50 to 21 Isaac Patterson Isaac Patterson 6'6" | PF Overland Park | 2021 State KS , 6’5, F, 2021, Blue Valley North
A small forward who is aggressive and good at moving off the ball. Patterson has good overall size and is fluid on both ends of the floor and can get to the basket and score. He is an unselfish player and shows good hustle and a solid upside. Patterson runs the floor well and can get up and make plays around the rim as well as block shots and protect the basket.
37 to 28 Jacob Hanna Jacob Hanna 6'3" | CG Andover | 2021 State KS , 6’4, G, Maize
An impressive junior player on the rise who has good athleticism, good vision and the ability to score in a variety of situations from distance and around the basket. He shows great leadership and does everything he can on both ends of the floor to make something happen whether it’s forcing a turnover or scoring when his team is down and looking to make a run. The leading scorer for Maize who averaged 15.4 points, 1.8 assists, 5.6 rebounds, 1.4 steals and 1.7 blocks per game.

Abasolo has a strong frame with solid athleticism and an ability to get to the basket and finish plays or get to the free throw line. A terrific leader and all-around impact player. Abasolo looked unstoppable offensively at times and his muscular frame and overall strength helped him over power opponents on defense and then finish in transition on the other side. A player who can find his rhythm from distance but also power his way inside.

A glue piece who keeps his team running their best when he’s on the floor. He is a strong rebounder and is good at finishing plays inside but also has a lot of upside as a rim protector. Fritz can connect from three-point range and has a creativity to his game and is strong at attacking the basket with his dribble. He can slash and make plays around the rim and he is good at absorbing contact and getting to the free-throw line.
