Unsigned seniors in the 2020 class are having a very hard time getting seen which is evident, but the 2021 class is losing out the most. The juniors soon to be seniors are heading into their most crucial summer of travel ball and then high school season following.
With that being said, here is a look at ‘Part 4’ of some 2021 prospects names to know.

2021: Names To Know (Part 1)
2021: Names To Know (Part 2)
Tripp Burdgess Tripp Burdgess 6'7" | PF Alonso | 2021 State FL (Alonso)
Arriving on Alonso varsity as a sophomore, the 6’8″ Burdgess broke out after some serious work in the off-season as he averaged 15.6 PPG, 9.9 RPG and 3.4 BPG during his junior year. His blocks and rebounds were single-season school records. Burdgess is a bruiser inside and he was one of the most reliable bucket getters in the paint. He draws endless contact. Pasco-Hernando State College has offered while North Florida has shown interest (Junior highlights).
Ronnail Tape Ronnail Tape 6'6" | PF Lehigh | 2021 State FL (Lehigh)
The playing time and responsibility took a step forward for the 6’6″ Tape. A long and energetic power forward, the half brother of LSU standout Emmitt Williams averaged 8.6 PPG and 6.1 RPG as a junior for Lehigh. Tape had 12 games in double figures including a pair of 17 point outings against Fort Myers and Seminole. On the season, he shot an efficient 60 percent from the field. A keen inside piece, Tape is aggressive when needed and doesn’t force shots. His progress is well worth tracking for college programs.
Rodney Bryant Rodney Bryant 6'0" | CG Mount Dora Christian | 2021 State FL (Mount Dora Christian)
On a 27-2 Mount Dora Christian squad, the 6’1″ Bryant was the top piece (19.8 PPG, 4.3 RPG, 3.1 SPG and 2.5 APG). He is a speedy guard who plays a hybrid role as a bursty attacker and scorer and pusher in transition. Bryant can flat out shoot the ball and he’s able to mix it up on both ends because of his focus and pure athleticness. Mercer and Barry have expressed interest as of late.
Valentino Hart Valentino Hart 6'4" | SF Tampa Prep | 2021 State FL (Tampa Prep)
Tampa Prep has a true riser in the 6’4″ Hart. He’s a versatile guard/forward who averaged 9.1 PPG and 8.8 RPG as a junior. He had 13 games in double digits and proved he’s progressing. Against Tampa Catholic on Dec. 23, Hart had a season-best 20 points on 6-of-10 shooting from the field. In the previous two games, he combined for 41 rebounds with 21 and 20 respectively. With more seasoning on his jumper, Hart will take the next step in his senior campaign.
Tyler Cauley (Tampa Riverview)
Over in Riverview, there is a versatile chess piece in the 6’5″ guard/forward Cauley. He can handle the ball with ease, drive on his own, shoot the mid-range and deep ball well and he’s active on the boards. Cauley’s long body helps him get going early in games and he takes chances as san aggressor to the basket. As he continues to add muscle, his bright basketball mind and all-around skills will shine brighter. Colleges will be looking at him often this fall.
