Either way, if these prospects don’t go D-I, they can still be impactful pieces right away at the D-II level. Here are some players that should become a priority as last second diamonds in the rough.

Shiloh | 2020

GA
– Shiloh
One of Georgia’s best floor generals, Jackson is a strong lead guard that sets up teammates. He’s got a good handle on the ball and can snake his way into the paint. He averaged 18.1 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists. He’s a plug-and-play mature point guard.
6-2 Jarden Maze – Washington County
Long and smooth, Jarden Maze stuffed the stat sheet his senior season averaging 18.3 points, 4.5 rebounds, 3 assists and 1.8 steals. Maze is slinky, able to slide his way past defenders in traffic. He’s got good court vision and is a pesky defender. 3.429 GPA and 17 ACT.

An elite athlete that plays above the rim, Dee Topps is an explosive scorer that thrives in fast pace games. He can break down his man off the dribble and get into the teeth of the defense in a blink. Topps is a streaky outside shooter and can wear his emotions on his sleeve. He averaged 18.8 points per game. Has been linked to going prep.

is a blur in transition and is an exceptional playmaker. He was the heart and soul of Therrell the past two years, serving as a vocal leader. Son takes great pride in his defense and can be an elite on-ball defender with his lateral quickness. His best offense comes when he gets into the paint with floaters and 10-footers. His free throw shooting and perimeter shot need an overhaul but Son understands how to run a team and his competitiveness will serve him well in college. Could be going prep.

had a breakout year averaging over 18 points per game. Cliff is a willing rebounder that gets on the glass. His mixture of scoring both inside and out makes him a valuable target.

Sebastian Augustave

Buford | 2020
State
GA
– Buford
Augustave transformed from a nice role player at Mill Creek (7.6 ppg) into the go-to guy and an elite shooter at Buford (17.4 ppg). Augustave is a deadly three-point sniper who has great accuracy. He draws the attention of defenses right when he steps over half court which benefits his teammates as he can find them for open looks. Colleges will always have a space for a guy that can make shots and values the ball.
