Luke Braman Luke Braman 6'8" | C Roanoke-Benson | 2021 FL (Roanoke Benson – 2021)
Braman is one of the more intriguing and sleeper big men in 2021. He led his team to a 36-1 record and the state final four, but he didn’t get to play on the big stage as the state finals were cancelled. We were excited to see his progress against fellow college prospects and posts of similar size playing for Hoops Intensity Training.
KJ Debrick KJ Debrick 6'7" | C Springfield Lanphier | 2021 State IL (Springfield Lanphier – 2021)
Debrick is another central Illinois post that we were really looking forward to seeing this spring. He has legit size and is a force on the defensive end. Flashed offensive improvement as a junior.
Noah Reynolds Noah Reynolds 6'1" | PG Peoria Notre Dame | 2021 IN (Peoria Notre Dame – 2021)
Reynolds was solid throughout his junior season for Notre Dame which was one of the premier teams in central Illinois. The crafty guard has a good feel for the game and how to run a team. In a point guard class that has some depth he had a change to make his statement during the live periods.
Noah Franklin Noah Franklin 6'7" | SF Cobden | 2021 State IL (Cobden – 2021)
Franklin is one of our favorite unknown prospects. Plays at small school Cobden. He is a point forward with size at about 6’5”. The lefty has the ability to create for himself and others. With the Illinois Bears he was primed to open up the eyes of D2 coaches around the Midwest.
AJ Casey

Whitney Young | 2022

#55

IL
(Tinley Park – 2022)
Casey is going to be just fine! The top 2022 in the state did have a chance though to show the improvements we saw during the high school season on a much bigger stage. Setting him up for more honors, higher national ranking, putting himself in position for All-American games as a senior, and potentially getting more blue blood offers.
Nigel Hylton Nigel Hylton 6'9" | PF Golden State Prep (CA) | 2022 IL (Lake Forest Academy – 2022)
Hylton blew up last fall at the Pangos All-Midwest Frosh/Soph Camp. He struggled in the multiple games we saw him with Lake Forest Academy. It could just be that he was adjusting to the new team. This power forward was a prospect that was a target for many of the top in-state AAU teams as well. Hylton had a chance to reestablish himself as one of the elite 2022s in Illinois.
Jalen Quinn Jalen Quinn 6'3" | PG Tuscola | 2022 State #136 Nation IL (Tuscola – 2022)
Quinn is a highly ranked prospect that plays at a smaller high school. The tools are definitely there. He showed it in multiple games when we saw him during the high school season. Quinn was going to run the show for the Illinois Wolves 16U and would have had an opportunity to land multiple big time offers once he checks the box of doing what he does against a high level of competition.
Braxton Stacker (Belleville East – 2022)
Stacker is one of the premier wings in the 2022 class. He has an enormous ceiling with his athletic pop and slashing ability. The Belleville East junior is primed to breakout and could have done that this spring!
Kanye Smith Kanye Smith 6'6" | SF Whitney Young | 2022 State IL & Xavier Amos Xavier Amos 6'7" | PF Whitney Young | 2022 State #233 Nation IL (Whitney Young – 2022)
We grouped these two Whitney Young forwards together. Both are among the top 20 prospects in the 2022 class, but neither saw minutes on the varsity level. Each has the physical tools you look for in a prospect with size, length, and projectability. They have shown it on the sophomore level, but we think they could have really elevated their stock on the 16U circuit during the spring.
