Ramean Hinton Ramean Hinton 6'4" | SG Curie | 2020 State #181 Nation IL (Curie – 2020)
Hinton is the lone 2020 prospect on this list. The decommitted from SEMO after the coaching change and would have been a prime candidate to put his talents on display during the live periods. He had an excellent senior season with his toughness, defense, and improved offensive skill set. Could have definitely picked up quite a few offers with strong performances for Team Rose.
Brandon Weston (Morgan Park – 2021)
Weston is a prospect in a very interesting scenario. He has a choice to make of whether to stay in the class of 2021 where he would attend an out of state prep school next year or reclassify going to college in the fall. Playing with the Mac Irvin Fire in the Nike EYBL would have allowed Watson to get more looks and potential suitors if he did want to go to college next season.
Anthony Sayles Anthony Sayles 6'2" | PG Niles Notre Dame | 2021 State #167 Nation IL (Niles Notre Dame – 2021)
Sayles is a prospect that we think is being under recruited by colleges. He has been the top ranked point guard in this class from the first ranking. The Niles Notre Dame lead guard brings speed, athleticism, scoring, and playmaking to the table. A dual sport standout concerns some schools, but we truly believe he had the ability to prove he is a high major lead guard this spring with the Illinois Wolves!
Tevin Smith Tevin Smith 6'4" | SF Danville | 2021 State IL (Danville – 2021)
Smith has been a highly ranked prospect since his freshman season at Danville. He has struggled with injuries including a knee injury that held him out of all AAU last summer and then another one that cost him the second half of the high school season. The top 15 prospect could have really benefitted from a strong spring reestablishing himself to the high-majors that showed interest in him.
Quani Rudd Quani Rudd 6'6" | SF Mt. Vernon | 2021 State IL (Mt. Vernon – 2021)
Rudd is one of the top prospects in southern Illinois. He has all the physical tools you could ask for in a mid-major wing with his size, athleticism, and ability to be a two way player. Being able to play in front of coaches would have helped him prove he is more than just a star in the 618.
Jaiden Lee Jaiden Lee 6'4" | SG Joliet West | 2021 State IL (Joliet West – 2021)
Lee is a prospect we have been a fan of for a long time. Long and rangy shooting guard that can light it up from deep. Showed flashes of that during the high school season on a team that was one of the best stories of the year. Primed to breakout in front of college coaches!
James Dent

(Springfield Southeast – 2021)
Dent is another player like Lee. Long and lanky two guard that is a sniper from deep. This is a player that every time we see him he posts electric scoring games with his jumper. Time for him to start collecting offers and we were excited to see him do that in April in front of D1s.
Ola Ajiboye Ola Ajiboye 6'8" | PF Evanston | 2021 State IL (Von Steuben – 2021)
Ajiboye is among the most under the radar D1 prospects in the class. Post that is extremely mobile and changes the game defensively blocking shots and hitting the glass. Rim runs and has some offensive touch. With the lack of posts in the Illinois 2021 class he could have seen his recruitment soar in April.
Ty Johnson (DePaul Prep – 2021)
Johnson saw his stock soar with a monster junior campaign. He is a smooth offensive weapon that can score from multiple levels. This is a prospect that fits the classic profile of a prospect that emerges as a junior and then blows up in the spring.
Jeffrey Oakley Jeffrey Oakley 6'5" | SF Corliss | 2021 State IL (Perspectives – 2021)
Oakley is a D1 prospect that hardly anyone knows about. Super athletic small forward with bounce, major slashing ability, and tremendous upside as a two way player. His best basketball is in front of him and he was primed to make a name this spring among college coaches.
