First Flight Dylan Blake Dylan Blake 6'1" | PG First Flight | 2020 State NC : As each day passes, we are simply baffled at how this young man is still very much under recruited. Many have fell into the thought process that he’s simply a shooter but that couldn’t be further from the truth as he has shown us he has the complete package of skills all season long. For the season he averaged 29 points, 8 Rebounds and 3 steals, playing a schedule tougher than many teams in his area, which should answer any question about level of competition. Some of his season highs were: 40 Points vs Kinston HS, 42 vs Hickory, 39 vs Page, 40 vs Greene Central to name a few.
Word of God Christian Chase Forte Chase Forte 6'3" | CG Word of God | 2020 State NC : He’s one of those players that was not on a ton of radars prior to this season but his play this year only helped to raise his stock which would lead to him picking up an offer from St. Augustine College. A guard that gives max effort on both ends of the floor, you can question his will to win or how his quick first step helps him to be effective on the court. His game may not be the most esthetically pleasing but plain and simple, he can step on a court and get the job done.
Cape Fear Christian Jamael Carter: More of a traditional type of PG, Carter is a player that can get others involved first but also has the skills to score the ball. His three point shooting is one of the attributes that we noticed as he has good range on his shot which allows him to shoot teams out of zone defenses. What he may lack in speed or leaping ability, he makes up for with his IQ and overall feel for the game, D3/NAIA programs should be on him.
Lumberton HS Jordan McNeill Jordan McNeill 6'1" | CG Lumberton | 2020 State NC : Putting up big time numbers all season long and leading his team to the State Championship, you got to see the different attributes that he was able to bring to the court. His leadership qualities have developed very well to go along with his title as one of the better rebounding guards that we saw all season. Scoring wise he clearly can put the ball in the bucket as he became the All-Time leading scorer in Lumberton HS history scoring over 2,000 total career points.
Harnett Central Anthony Tomlinson: Although his team didn’t have the most successful season, he more than proved himself as a college prospect. His end to end speed as well as his scoring ability are some of the reasons why he was able to be an effective player throughout the season.
