Some of the best time was spent going team-by-team through this conference and finding the best players. After very careful decision making, here are the All-Conference selections selected by Prep Hoops.
First Team
Josh Randall Josh Randall 6'6" | PF Gloucester Tech | 2020 State NJ (2020) | Gloucester Tech: Randall was the most dominant player in the Tri-County Conference this season. The senior led Gloucester Tech to 16 wins with 21 points, 13.5 rebounds, and 4.5 blocks per game. He was a double-double machine who could score at will on the low block.
Gage Ausland Gage Ausland 6'0" | PG Salem | 2020 State NJ (2020) | Salem: It was not the best season for Salem but it is impossible to ignore what Ausland got done on the court. He finished with 591 points this season and 21.9 per game. He set a season-high with 44 points in an early season win over Clayton.
Rob Petersen Rob Petersen 6'2" | SG Pitman | 2021 NJ (2020) | Pitman: Pitman finished the season with 21 wins and 13 conference wins. Petersen led the way with 16.9 points and 4.3 rebounds per game. He started out the season hot with six straight games of at least 23 points including a 39-point performance against Overbrook. His hot streak continued throughout the entire season.
Ryan Roney Ryan Roney 6'0" | SG Gloucester Catholic | 2021 State NJ (2021) | Gloucester Catholic: Roney was one of the top scorers in the conference this season. He finished with 18.7 points per contest. Roney put up 43 points against Clayton back in January. There was a little of everything in his game. Roney was a capable shooter and dominated by scoring inside.
Kavon Lewis Kavon Lewis 5'9" | PG Penns Grove | 2020 State NJ (2020) | Penns Grove: It is impossible to make a list about the Tri-County Conference without Lewis. Penns Grove finished 25-5 and at the top of the Diamond Division. Lewis led the way with 17.7 points per game and knocked down 63 three’s.
Zach Wygand Zach Wygand 6'2" | SG Woodstown | 2021 State NJ (2021) | Woodstown: Wygand was electric this season. Just wait until he is a senior. Wygand led Woodstown with 18.2 points and 8.1 rebounds per game. He also knocked down 67 three’s throughout the season which was near the top of the conference.
