No. 9 Cam Oates Cam Oates 5'10" | PG New Life Christian | 2023 State NC – Trinity Academy (Fayetteville)
Oates is a player that starts his offense on the defensive end with his ability to pressure the basketball and forces turnovers. He’s one of the quickest guards in the class and has shown he’s not a prospect to go easy against.
No. 13 Amare Haynie Amare Haynie 6'3" | PG Winston-Salem Christian | 2022 State NC – Moravian Prep
Haynie was a prospect off the bench that brought energy with his ability to pressure the ball fullcourt. He’s a prospect that uses his length and athleticism well to play passing lanes and keep the offense on their toes.
No. 15 Khalil Marshall Khalil Marshall 6'1" | PG Lake Norman Christian | 2022 State NC – Word of God
Marshall is another prospect that does well to create his offense on the defensive end with quick feet and hands when defending the basketball. He finished the regular season strong and is due for some attention this spring and summer.
No. 17 Mike Best Mike Best 6'0" | PG Word of God | 2022 State NC – Wayne Country Day School
Best is slowly figuring things out on the defensive end and as he does, things have come easier for him on offense. He’s a guard that does well to time his opponent just right to create steals and layups on the fastbreak at Wayne Country Day School.
No. 23 Patrick Wessler Patrick Wessler 7'0" | C Combine Academy | 2022 State #217 Nation NC – Butler
Wesler is a 6-foot-10 big man that already does well protecting the rim and effecting shots in the paint. He’s also got quite the mobility which allows him to defend players on the perimeter.
No. 43 Logan Blair Logan Blair 6'5" | SF Harding University | 2022 State NC – North Mecklenburg
Blair is a versatile prospect that’s quick enough to defend guards and strong enough to defend the post. He’ll be a name to watch at North Mecklenburg and this spring/summer with Team Charlotte .
No. 46 Jordan Marsh Jordan Marsh 5'10" | PG Moravian Prep | 2023 GA – Hickory Ridge
Marsh is another lightning-quick guard with the ability to alter the game on the defensive side of the ball. He’s one that should see his stock rise that more he shows off his skill set. He even averaged 2.9 steals per contest as a member of the varsity squad.
No. 57 Charles McClennahan Charles McClennahan 6'7" | PF Liberty Heights | 2022 State NC – Calvary Day School
McClenahan is quite the versatile forward at 6-foot-7. He’s gifted offensively already and is slowly figuring out his role as a rim protector and rebounder on the defensive end. Look for him to grow more on the defensive end this spring/summer.
No. 80 Isaiah Williams Isaiah Williams 6'5" | SF Porter Ridge | 2022 State NC – Porter Ridge
Williams is an emerging prospect that’s learning to fill the void on defense, depending on matchups. He averaged 1.3 blocks per game and is figuring out how to use his size and length to affect the game on defense.
