Now we move on to the shooting guard position.  Here are the best two guards still on the board in the senior class!

Ramean HintonRameanHinton6'4" | SGCurie | 2020State#181NationIL (Curie)

Hinton recently came back on the board after being committed to SEMO since September.  He decided to reopen his recruitment after the coaching change.  Hinton should be a coveted commodity on the recruiting trail as he is a two way wing that can really defend, rebound, and has improved as an offensive player.  Jump shot has become much more consistent and at the end of the day no one is going to play harder!

Antoine BloxtonAntoineBloxton6'3" | SGBogan | 2020StateIL (Bogan)

Bloxton is an electric multi-level scorer that had a big senior year.  He had several monster performances this year including the Proviso West championship game where he pretty much did whatever he wanted on the floor scoring at will.  Sometimes his shot selection is a bit questionable, but when he gets rolling he was one of the most unguardable players in the state this year.

Lashawn JohnsonLashawnJohnson6'3" | SGEast St. Louis | 2020StateIL (East St. Louis) Johnson is a wiry two guard that is one of the top seniors in the metro east.  Plus athlete that uses his length on the defensive end to get steals and make it tough on opposing wings.  Streaky shooter that can get it rolling at times.  What he is best at is slashing and playing above the rim in the open floor.         Pee Wee BrownPeeWee Brown6'2" | SGPeoria Manual | 2020StateIL (Peoria Manual) Brown is a winner!  He did it in both high school and on the travel team circuit with Peoria Area Elite.  The shooting guard is a crafty scorer that understands how to get points in the paint and will his production on the game.           Josh HolmesJoshHolmes6'1" | SGDe La Salle | 2020StateIL (De La Salle) Holmes is a wiry two guard that can really shoot the ball.  He is at his best moving without the ball getting open where he can shoot it coming off screens.  Showed flashes of being able to play more with the ball in his hands as a senior.           Roland McCoyRolandMcCoy6'1" | SGKenwood | 2020StateIL (Kenwood) McCoy broke out as a senior for Kenwood being their go to scorer.  Emerged as a potential D2 target with the way he scored from multiple levels.  He is a bit undersized at the two guard spot, but this kid can really get buckets!  Drills an array of jump shots from beyond the arc.  Also has the athleticism to make quick and decisive moves to the cup.          Bryson TatumBrysonTatum6'2" | SGUrbana | 2020StateIL (Urbana) Tatum had a breakout spring at various camps which put his name on the map and then he followed it up during the high school season.  This Urbana 6’4” wing can play both on and off the ball.  Very good pull up jump shooter that combines that with the ability to attack downhill using his broad shoulders.         Luke CoxLukeCox6'3" | SGTriad | 2020StateIL (Triad) Cox is a 6’4” shooting guard that is a player we had on our radar last season, but didn’t fully get our attention until we saw him go for 50+ points in a fall league game.  He had a big showing at Highland dropping 31 points in a showcase game.  Cox connected on an array of threes with a smooth and fluid release.  He then began to score off the bounce.  Quick and aggressive moves to the hoop.  Pretty decent athlete that has crisp handles.       Josiah PalmerJosiahPalmer6'3" | SGHomewood Flossmoor | 2020StateIL (Homewood Flossmoor) Palmer can flat out go!  This athletic guard plays bigger than his height with his length.  He sets down and is a pest at the point of attack defensively.  Offensively he is most effective shooting it from three.           CJ NwosuCJNwosu6'2" | SGVon Steuben | 2020StateIL (Von Steuben) Nwosu emerged on the circuit with Full Package over the summer.  Strong and athletic two guard that gets it done from multiple levels.  Burst with the ball in his hands combining productivity and developmental upside.           Moory WoodsMooryWoods6'3" | SGAlton | 2020StateIL (Alton) Woods is a freak athlete that plays above the rim in transition.  When he gets rolling can have some excellent games.  Like his upside down the road as his best basketball is still ahead of him.           Uchenna EgekezeUchennaEgekeze6'3" | SGHuntley | 2020StateIL (Huntley) Egekeze is the ultimate utility guy stuffing the stat sheet and playing excellent defense.  He does a little bit of everything with his long and rangy frame making an impact on both ends of the floor.           Ryan SrokaRyanSroka6'3" | SGHuntley | 2020StateIL (Huntley) Skilled wing with good size.  Sound perimeter shooter that plays well within a team concept.  Should be a quality scorer at the next level.           Tagen PearsonTagenPearson6'2" | SGNazareth | 2020StateIL (Nazareth) Pearson is a crafty scoring wing with a nice looking jumper from both mid-range and three.  Smooth with the ball in his hands and has some strength which will allow him to take a bump at the hoop.           Lance MosleyLanceMosley6'2" | SGDePaul Prep | 2020StateIL (DePaul Prep) Mosley is a great small college prospect with his athleticism, defense, and spot up shooting.  He had a rock solid year for DePaul Prep as a secondary scorer and team leader!
