Luke Scheffers Luke Scheffers 6'0" | PG St. Charles North | 2020 State IL (St. Charles North)
Scheffers is the top uncommitted point guard in the state of Illinois. What makes him such a talented prospect? We like his high basketball IQ and the way he runs a team. Crisp passer that knows how to get others involved. Excellent in the pick and roll game where he makes sound decisions as distributor. Can shoot it coming off a screen being especially effective from mid-range!
Devin Davis Devin Davis 5'10" | PG Westinghouse | 2020 State IL (Westinghouse)
Davis was one of the more electric scoring guards in the CPS this year as a senior. The Westinghouse guard is a high level scorer that can win off the dribble with his burst and has a solid mid-range game as well. D2 programs and JUCOs should take a close look here!
Davis Walker Davis Walker 6'2" | PG Home School | 2020 State IL (Home School)
Walker is an interesting prospect being that he is home schooled. We saw him quite a bit during the spring and summer with Team RWA the last couple summers. Thicker point guard that made the transition to playing more on the ball. He has always been an adequate three point shooter and that continued on the circuit last summer.
Alex Wood Alex Wood 5'10" | PG Normal U-High | 2020 State IL (Normal U-High)
Wood is among the top seniors in central Illinois. He displayed what makes him intriguing when we saw him late in the season. The 5’10” point guard is a slick ball handler that has a feel for driving and getting his teammates involved. Made several nifty passes in the lane as well which led to buckets. As a scorer he used his quickness for a couple drives, but it was his jumper that he relied on. Wood knocked in several mid-range jumpers including the game winner. Also stretches it to three on occasion.
Elijah Pickens Elijah Pickens 5'8" | PG Curie | 2020 State IL (Curie)
Pickens is a quick twitched point guard that has seen his stock rise as a senior. The floor general for Curie is small, but is afraid of no one. He is at his best using hesitation and shifty handles to get in the paint for conversions. Scoop shots are his forte. Pesky on the defensive end and really has a feel in the pick/roll game.
Jashawn Anderson Jashawn Anderson 5'11" | PG East St. Louis | 2020 State IL (East St. Louis)
We saw this floor general quite a bit over the last couple months of the season. Anderson is the leader of the Flyers. The 5’10” guard has excellent speed in the open floor. Quality pull up shooter and knows how to use his speed in the transition game. His best asset is his passing as he consistently gets his array of offensive weapons involved.
Grant Niego Grant Niego 6'0" | PG Lyons | 2020 State IL (Lyons)
Niego came back from a serious injury and had a fantastic senior season. The lead guard has gotten stronger and is an even better scorer. Consistently posted quality numbers with his quality jump shot along with his ability to run a team.
Everett Stubblefield Everett Stubblefield 5'11" | PG Willowbrook | 2020 State IL (Willowbrook)
Stubblefield is a smaller scoring guard that had a huge outing when we saw him at the Hinsdale Central Holiday Classic over the holidays. Quick twitched guard that can win off the dribble and shoot it getting hot for stretches.
Jo Green Jo Green 6'2" | PG Marian Catholic | 2020 State IL (Marian Catholic)
Green is a wiry guard with plus athleticism. Sound perimeter defender that brings a lot of energy and transition scoring to the table. Excellent spark plug guard for the small college level.
Justin Moore Justin Moore 6'2" | PG Bloom | 2020 State IL (Bloom)
Moore can shoot, get others involved, and is tough. He settled into his role this year on a loaded Bloom squad, but is a high level small college prospect. Like what he brings as an all-around rock solid guard.
