I like to take a look at my annual “Top-5’s”.
Every player has their 1 skill they usually excel at.
It’s just a fun way to take a look at players’ elite skills in different categories.
We move over to the 5 players who are top-tier shot blockers. These are the players who will alter or block almost everything that comes near them. A smaller list then the rest. I could of listed more but chose to list the players in other categories.
Here are my Top-5:
1. EnoShay Cain EnoShay Cain 6'4" | SF Phhoenix Prep Post Grad | 2022 State AZ (Desert Edge)
-The only non post player on the list has an uncanny ability to block shots. He is super long and his timing is impeccable to get it done.
2. Matur Dhal Matur Dhal 6'10" | C Phhoenix Prep | 2021 State AZ (Phhoenix Prep)
-The tallest and longest on list is a force inside to alter or block your shot.
3. Jeffrey Goodere Jeffrey Goodere 6'9" | C Taylor Made Prep | 2021 State AZ (Estrella Foothills)
-A fluid post player moves swiftly in space and is very light on his toes to cover ground.
4. Darian Masi Darian Masi 6'7" | PF Eduprize | 2021 State AZ (Chandler)
-The most athletic on the list shows good timing to block shots. He will have a jaw-dropping play or two every game on defense and offense.
5. Zach Morgan Zach Morgan 6'9" | C SoAZ Volz | 2021 State AZ (Pueblo)
-Under the radar Tucson prospect is long and taller. He is a plus athlete and uses his length to block shots.
