Chaska won the Metro West for the 5th time in six seasons.  The Hawks lead off and dominate our Conference Review/Metro West All Conference team.

The Review

At the Top – Chaska won the league with an 11-1 record leading into their 24-4 record against a schedule full of non-league top teams from Minnesota.  The Hawks finished 5th in the state in Class AAAA and once again the team played a great team game moving higher than their potential.  

The Surprise –  Cooper.  Most surely Cooper.  The Hawks went 19-6 this season with a strong junior core and a great season by a serious up and comer in sophomore Davion Evans.  Cooper was a .500 team a year ago and then finished this season winning 76 percent of their games.  

What Happened? – Never did we expect BSM to fall to five wins with a senior group coming back. The non-league schedule had some struggles but two wins in the Metro West says everything that needs to be known about
