No. 6 (18) Jeremy Gregory Jeremy Gregory 6'8" | PF Oak Hill Academy | 2022 State NC
6-foot-7 forward Jeremy Gregory Jeremy Gregory 6'8" | PF Oak Hill Academy | 2022 State NC has played a pivotal role in North Mecklenburg’s success this season which has cemented him in the thick of the Top 10 rankings. He’s a double-double machine that brings quite the paint presence on both ends. Gregory and the Patriots will be in action this weekend at the Dean Dome as they took on Lumberton in the 4A NCHSAA State Final at 7:35 PM.
No. 7 (14) DJ Nix DJ Nix 6'7" | SF Cannon | 2022 State #211 Nation NC
DJ Nix DJ Nix 6'7" | SF Cannon | 2022 State #211 Nation NC was a big reason why the Cannon School flourished on offense this season. He showed he can score anywhere on the floor given his versatility to score on the perimeter and in the paint. He’s coming along as quite the defender as well. He’s been quite the weapon alongside Jaden Bradley Jaden Bradley 6'2" | PG IMG Academy | 2022 State #15 Nation FL as they won the NCISAA 4A crown this season.
No. 10 (19) Avion Pinner Avion Pinner 6'9" | PF Concord Academy | 2023 State NC
Pinner had a productive season in the paint at Riverside averaging 20.7 points, 12.0 rebounds, 2.2 steals and 1.7 blocks per game. Pinner even put together a few 30+ point performances to go along with his 20 double-doubles on the season. He’s a 6-foot-5 forward in the frontcourt to keep an eye on, especially during the spring and summer.
No. 19 (53) Nayshin Waller Nayshin Waller 6'3" | CG Wayne Country Day | 2023 State NC
Waller was probably the biggest stock riser in the update, catapulting all the way into the Top 20. He finds himself there after a productive season at the lead guard spot for Princeton High School. He put up 16.6 points per game to along with 3.9 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 2.0 steals per contest as a sophomore. He’s slowly approaching the 1,000-point mark as he enters his junior season.
No. 28 (35) Quave Propst-Allison Quave Propst-Allison 6'0" | PG Providence Day | 2022 State NC
Propst has seen his stock rise a bit after leading Cox Mill to the third round of the 3A State Playoffs. He led the way in scoring (15.9 ppg) and assists (4.3 apg) while also grabbing 6.1 rebounds per contest. He’ll be a prospect to keep an eye on in the spring and summer after a productive varsity season.
No. 49 (67) Marcus Magness Marcus Magness 6'0" | PG West Charlotte | 2022 State NC
Magness is a combo guard that’s slowly figuring out how to make things happen for others on the floor. He averaged 6.6 assists per game along with 14.9 points, 5.6 rebounds and 2.0 steals per game for West Charlotte this season. He’ll be one to watch in their backcourt for seasons to come.
No. 56 (68) Chatham Lambiotte Chatham Lambiotte 6'6" | PF Cape Fear Academy | 2022 State NC
Lambiotte is a big man with a solid IQ in the post whether scoring or passing the basketball. He’ll be a frontcourt prospect to watch at Cape Fear Academy and on the AAU circuit with Team Wall this spring and summer. Look for his growth heading into his junior season.
