Miles Norris, Mater Dei Catholic/ Helix – Would have been higher if he completed his career in San Diego. The All-CIF First team selection during the 2016-17 year led the Highlanders to the CIF Division 2 title and a Division 4 state runner up during that year. Currently at City College San Francisco.
Dame N’Diaye, Hoover – The athletic force was a perfect complement to Angelo Chol during the Cardinals run of seven consecutive title game appearances. All CIF First team selection in 2010 before focusing on football his senior year.
Joe Hudson, Escondido – the dynamic scoring guard was the heart and soul of good Escondido teams during the late ‘00s, culminating with an All-CIF First team selection in 2010 after averaging 23.6 points per game. Hudson played at Wyoming and Concordia-Irvine.
Victor Dean, Lincoln – one of the catalysts of the Hornets 2010 section and title runs, Dean was named to the All-CIF first team in 2010.
Dominic Hovasse, Torrey Pines – Named to the All-CIF First Team in 2015. Currently playing at San Diego City College.
Tommy McCarthy, La Costa Canyon – A two-time CIF team selection was part of a “Big 4” that led the Mavericks to the 2014 CIF Open Division title. Currently at Rice.
Brady Twombly, La Costa Canyon – Twombly was named to the CIF First team as a junior and 2nd team as a senior and was part of the inaugural Open Division title team.
Khy Kabellis, La Jolla Country Day/ Escondido – A two-time CIF Champion (Country Day/ Esco), Kabellis was named to the All-CIF First team as a senior in 2015. Currently at UC Riverside.
John Fletcher, Vista – His return from injury his senior year propelled Vista to the 2012 CIF Division 1 finals game and earned him a place on the All-CIF First Team.
Tanner Clayton, Rancho Bernardo – the All-CIF First Team selection in 2010 helped engineer the most improbable title run of the decade, the Broncos Division 1 title run.
Sam Beeler, Poway – A three-time Palomar League first team selection went on to set the Big West record for FG percentage (72.1 percent) at UC Santa Barbara.
Dalante Dunklin, Francis Parker – One of the strongest guards to come out of the section, Dunklin made the All CIF First team during his senior year at Parker.
Dayton Boddie, El Camino – a two-time All-CIF selection (11-12), Boddie played collegiately at UC Riverside and CSU San Marcos.
Drew Kitchens, La Costa Canyon – All-CIF first-teamer as a senior led the Mavs to the CIF D1 title his final year.
Finn Sullivan, Torrey Pines – Became a force during his senior year, being named to the All CIF First team and earning a D1 scholarship to University of San Diego.
JJ Overton, Rancho Bernardo – An All-CIF first-team selection in 2017, Overton currently is playing at Utah Valley University.
Jeff Van Dyke, La Costa Canyon – A one-time All-CIF First-team selection (2013), the 6-3 sharpshooter earned a scholarship to Pepperdine and played at UC San Diego before retiring due to concussions.
Ronald Steward, San Ysidro – An All-CIF First Team selection, Steward led the Cougars to a CIF Division 2 quarterfinals berth in 2013.
Justin Davis, Morse – A catalyst on the CIF Division 1 championship team in 2014, Davis made the All-CIF Second team in 2016 after averaging 24 points and 15 rebounds per game. Currently at Cal State Bakersfield.
Maliik Love, Bishop’s – All CIF Second Team selection in 2010. Went on to become Big West Freshman of the Year and lead Cal Poly to its lone NCAA tournament appearance.
Ben Perez, San Marcos – Perez earned All-CIF First Team honors in 2014 and second-team honors in 2013. He currently plays at Iona.
Michael Diaz, Orange Glen – was the catalyst of a revival at Orange Glen, 2017 All-CIF Second Team selection, 2014 D4 championship winner.
Damien Miller, Orange Glen – All CIF Selection in 2018, averaged nearly a triple double his senior year.
Andre Nikita, El Cajon Valley – A walking triple double threat, Nikita earned a surprise All CIF First team berth in 2013 after snatching the Grossmont Hills league title from Mt Miguel on the final day of the regular season.
Izzy Wagner, Mt. Miguel – The player on the wrong end of the El Cajon Valley game had an incredible senior year, scoring 40 or more in his first 8 games.
Chris Jones, Hoover – Earned First-Team all-CIF Honors in 2012 while guiding the team the CIF Division 2 semifinals.
Robby Robinson, Kearny – A linchpin of the very good Kearny teams in the mid-decade, Robinson was named to two All-CIF teams in 2016 and 2017. Currently at Nevada.
Xavier Williams Xavier Williams 6'4" | SG Ribet Academy | 2021 State CA-S , Cathedral Catholic – All-CIF First Team Selection in 2013 and 2nd team in 2012, the year the Dons won the Division 3 title in a nailbiter over Mission Bay. Played Division 1 football at Colorado State.
Takoda Browne, Kearny – One of the more polarizing – yet undeniable – players of the mid 2010s, Browne led the Komets to a Division 3 and Division 1 title in 2014 and 2016, respectively. Browne was an All CIF First-Team selection during his senior year.
Sedrick Childress, Vista – Willed Vista to the CIF Division 1 finals as a senior as the team lost point guard John Fletcher for much of his senior year to injury. All CIF Second team selection in 2012.
Jake Gilliam, Torrey Pines – An All-CIF First Team selection in 2017, Gilliam spearheaded the Falcons push to the CIF Open Division finals in 2017.
