On the final 6A statistical leaderboard, you’ll see that Justin ScogginJustinScoggin6'3" | CGWest Salem | 2020StateOR did end up as one of the top scorers in the state. It was a bit of a partial story for the all-around 6-foot-3 senior guard at West Salem though as he really only got on the court for half of the year. The loss has him looking at different options when it comes to his college recruitment but he’s hopeful for big things in the future.

"I got a stress fracture in my ankle from overuse and I was out for a month and a half almost," Scoggin said. "I got back and got playing again right at the end of the season."

On the year, Scoggin was able to get into 15 games and averaged 20.8 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 2.3 assists. Schools like Central Washington and Western Oregon had been tracking him during the season and he was also hearing from some other Division III schools but Scoggin is looking at getting more exposure this off-season.
