He also has good court vision and a high basketball IQ.
Barath is always at work trying to improve his game. He’s currently focused on his ball speed and game movements. Barath is also working on strengthening his non dominant hand as well.
Barath has become a veteran of the game by experiencing big moments. He has already broken his school’s 56 year old single game scoring record, by putting up 41 points. His outburst that game helped his team break the single game scoring record with a 100 point performance. Barath had a 50 point game last May at the Nike Memorial Showdown in Columbus, Ohio.

“I would have to say that my greatest motivation would have to be my Dad. My Dad never had an opportunity to play sports growing up due to the passing of his father. He never misses a game, and has spent countless hours and dollars taking me to so many different basketball related things. He’s always in my corner, cheering me on, calling me ‘King Jax’, showing all his friends and our family videos of my dunks and shots and plays. Everything I do is to make my Dad proud; I try my hardest to be able to give him the basketball experience he wishes he had.”
