Why so many players? Because way more high school basketball players go on to play college basketball than people realize and we want all the names out there. Here is the group that recruits Minnesota:
-Division One schools from the top schools in the nation to the Missouri Valley and the Summit League teams.
-Division Two schools mostly from the Northern Sun but others around the nation as well
-D3 schools in the MIAC
-D3 schools in the UMAC
-D3 schools in the WIAC
-D3 JV teams in the MIAC, UMAC, and WIAC (if they have them)
-NAIA teams in Iowa, Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, and others places.
-Junior Colleges! Jucos outside of Minnesota at the D1 level as well as the numerous D3 juco teams in the state of Minnesota that always have to replace half their team.
-Add in the prep schools where kids get a prep year and you have a load of places looking to Minnesota for talent.
