History: The PAL Elite was started one year ago, by the Phoenix Police department with the primary purpose of giving underserved youth the opportunity for a quality club basketball experience. The program which is run through grants and partnerships has no monthly fees or dues, and allows players to participate without the burden of tournament, hotel or travel fees. Starting with 8 players at their initial tryout, the program has grown into 3 teams. “My role is coach, Director mentor” – Carl Wunsch
