The Prep Hoops Circuit is just around the corner!  It is time for us to start previewing the teams participating in the circuit!

We caught up with Scott Thomas of JHL Elite Ohio 16u to discuss their upcoming season!  Check out what he had to say!

The History: This is our second year as an organization in Ohio.  There are other JH1 teams in Indiana and Wisconsin. We are a team built of kids from around central Ohio.

2020 Goals: The goal of the program is to provide an opportunity for kids to be exposed to high-level basketball while playing in front of college coaches.

The Mission: The mission of the program is to help kids maximize their basketball potential while having the opportunity to showcase their skills in front of colleges.

Why Prep Hoops: JH1 Ohio played with prep hoops last year and it was a success.

Team Strengths: JH1 Elite Ohio is composed of guys who have the ability to play multiple positions.  Playing fast and inside out is the strength of our team.

X-Factor Players:

| Dylan Thompson | is one of the best defenders in the state of Ohio. Thompson showed during school season he also has the ability to shoot the 3ball at a 43% clip.

| LA Walker | has the ability to create for himself and his teammates.  His one on one ability combined with his size makes him an extremely tough cover.

Players to Watch:

| 6’7 | 210lbs | Troy Scowden | has the ability to play inside out and shoot the 3 pointers while. He also uses his body and strength to finish around the rim. Troy is an extremely good passer while in the post and can create for his teammates.

| JJ Simmons | is a guard who can play the 1 and 2. Simmons can pick up the full court on defense, while also having the ability to score 15-20 a game.

| John Mobley Jr | an incoming freshman that is playing up two divisions. Mobley has the ability to play the 1 and 2 and is an ELITE shooter and ball handler.
